I'm enjoying your podcasts, but I really hate the term, "Unfair Advantage." Until about two or three weeks ago I was unfamiliar with this term. Hearing it makes one think that someone has an unearned advantage over others. That isn't, apparently, what is meant by this term. I suggest coming up with a different term - such as "earned advantage" to counter the perceived concept that the successful were successful due to some "unfair advantage" but rather gained that success through diligent work, self improvement, being consistent and persistent, etc. These give us a fair advantage because we reap the rewards of the time and effort we put in to our careers, lives, relationships, etc.

Great episode, thank you! I've read the Slight Edge 4 times now, discover new things each time. The first time I read it decided to apply it to my garden: gardening was my favorite way to procrastinate. I set a goal to eat and juice something from my garden daily 2 years later. Started timing myself 20 mns daily on average, and it works! Also when I wanted my business to move faster, gardening was a good way to be reminded of the laws of nature: prep, nurture, sow, nurture, weed, and then, sometimes you get a harvest! Love the Slight Edge philosophy.
