if you didn't figure it out in the map select somewhere in the bottom left with be a 1,2 or 3 character select to choose from

I'm doing the levels before watching the videos so i thought i was still in level 2.5 but I've come to a portal. Watched this vid and realised I've probably done level 3 but feel like I've missed a lot there. I also missed the ornate sword, do i need it. ?

not sure if this is what you mean but red exit goes to hell level, blue takes you out to lobby

Hop to the beginners tutorial I posted before the playthrough series it goes into EVERYTHING. But you have to click and drag the doors open.

@@GreyBeardGamingYT Well, there's modders finishing the game. I would know since I'm one of them and friends with the team so yeah. If you ever play again, make sure to get some of the mods on spacedock!

I expected things like how to parry, block, counter attack, dodge. Wasnt able to finish a single dungeon with how clunky the movesets i know are.

Yeah sorry it's not really that kinda game :P There is the longsword if youy wanna parry it's real hard and then there's shields you can block with. For the most part them game is about spacing.

@@GreyBeardGamingYT I tried dungeonborne last summer and the combat system seemed a bit more refined. Since every player on reddit (and Steam) considered Dark and Darker like the superior game, i expected a way more fleshed out combat experience with parries counters etc, especially since it felt like a complete mess (i figured that was me being noob). As it seem, the game is built that way. I already uninstalled the game, but thanks anyway, have a good one.

@5:40 ish the newest update made the cushions behave like a cushion. So you have to use a plank to cross the gaps now. Also there is a chest under the stairs in the big room.

If the key is in the same room as the door it unlocks just double click on the key the click the door. No need to carry it around. Also Darrin levels up if you bring him with you and he gets kills himself.

@30:11 The key you said was useless opens the cage on your right which has a longsword in a bucket. It can be reached from the cell adjacent to it.

Every freaking game ive enemy players and theyve always killed me as a level 1 2 and 3. Its really turning into a snooze fest as no matter what i die.

When you fast forward to the "top of the map" at 22:00 you take a turn and don't show it and now I'm lost af... it would be really helpful to show a straight line from start to end of level after all the loot and doors are unlocked

This was the first time I've ever done a full series like this and wasn't really sure if people would really watch though the whole thing if it got boring moving from place to place. I've learned my lesson for if I make another full walkthrough in the future. Thanks so much

Wonderful tutorial, explanations were very clear and concise. Saved me a bunch of headaches early on seeing as this game doesn't have a great in-game method of explaining some of its bits-and-bobs.

I kind of love/hate that there's so little content like this about the game. Takes me back to the old days before the internet. That said, your videos have been a godsend. There's so much that can be missed and I'll clear out entire areas and be ripping my hair out finding the one thing I need to move on and continue to enjoy my self imposed punishment.

@@S.V.TeFiti unlike a game like tarkov or Gray zone or dark and darker, Dayz is not an extraction game! So no such thing as getting out with the gear as far as I know. Maybe somebody has modded it to create an extraction version. Not sure though!
