I love Lesley Sue Goldstein forever! My girlfriend laughed at me for having a crush on a deceased lesbian. I don't care my sweet angel. I love you!

I met her at one of her concerts about three years before her death. This lady had a personality that would literally vibrate a room when she came in. Very incredible lady. She is missed but her memory will live forever. Her life partner died recently.

Nice interview of a highly mentally advanced, well-spoken and congenial artist, who really imparted useful and entertaining information and insight, as opposed to all the inane, vain quibbling extant on this comment page.😫 I would like to have known her.

this place was so weird and obnoxious when I went there 7 years ago. But I didn't realize they were just totally aware of how meme culture would shape the physical world and wanted to be ahead of the pack

I can’t imagine being a young aspirational singer dreaming of having a #1 and having Ella Fitzgerald releasing records at the same time. It must have been a thrilling time.

I'm only 14 years old, but i absolutely love music like this and the period of time when Lesley and other singers started their career and became "trending". Sometimes i thought of myself: i'm living in the wrong generation. But now i say the opposite, because at least i can listen to every masterpiece of that time whenever i want to:) I'm really sad because half of those singers are gone and i can't meet them, or at least go to one of their concerts or something. This is one of the reasons why i'm afraid of getting older. (i'm sorry if i texted some things wrong)

Buddy, you can like a generation without living in it. No one appreciates their own current generation. Countless teenagers love the fashion and energy of the 20th century, you’re not special. You aren’t more intelligent because you appreciate a time you know nothing about and see it through your romanticized lenses
