You should really strip the whole thing down, spray/soak it, blow air through each and every hole you can find, then reassemble, just my 2 cents worth, I have an ultrasonic cleaner that works wonders as well, on carb number seven I'm currently rebuilding

Got a question I have a 2007 Toyota Camry 2.4 engine I put a little more then 5 quarts in there and it’s showing on the dipstick that I barely put any and yes I made sure it I poured it in the right spot and there’s no oil leak anywhere plus I’m getting a low engine oil pressure light with a check engine light
@uggaduggabois26 күн бұрын
@NotKevo how many miles are one the car? Does it burn oil?
@NotKevo26 күн бұрын
@ 176k miles and I don’t know I bought it used from someone the red triangle light is blinking and it says low engine oil pressure I already added 6 quarts of oil it won’t show on the dipstick I’m very confused could a bad oil pump make it do that ?

Great video... I'm doing the same now with a L5240 that I picked up at an auction. I love your "let's replace it while we're here" attitude as that can make all the difference. BTW... the L245s were only made through 1985 so perhaps it's an 85 instead of a 95. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How long do springs last on a van? Or do they even go bad? Thanks
@uggaduggabois3 ай бұрын
@cisco00079 It depends on a few factors. Most the time they should last the life of the car. This minivan is used to haul trailers and was overloaded a few tines causing the springs to fail.

In order for it to seal on the outside it would need to be flat at least in the immediate area where the hole is. That means all of the raised areas would need to be sanded off and down flat. It is nice to know about the heating helping.

Have bought 4 of these starters and had abysmal life from them. After a few dozen starts, the solenoid contacts burned out and I get the dreaded “click” “click” “click” for as long as I want to try cranking it😢 I still have all 4 and have purchased replacement solenoids for them that are supposed to be high quality. Haven’t got any tractors to use them on though. Owners had enough of those type and bought new direct drive Delco in one case $$$$ and a planetary gear reduction type in the other. It has been a few years so hope you have better success.

Hi, I have a similar tractor with a starting problem. Can you tell me the kind the issue I would have if this part is bad? What exactly does this relay do? When I try to start my 3020 I mainly get clicking which I assume is a solenoid issue. What issue(s) were you experiencing that led to replacing this part and eventually the starter?
@uggaduggabois Жыл бұрын
We also,at times had a clicking sound. Other times the starter would not turn over fast enough to start the tractor in cold weather. I would advise first check to make sure your batteries are good along with your main battery lines and that you have a good ground. We we replaced the relay in we didn't noticed a change which lead to us changing the battery cabels and finally the starter. The new starter we put on also is rated to spin fast and now she starts almost instantly no matter the temperature.
