Hey what hone size did you use to achieve the correct piston to wall clearance. I can seem to find the right size anywhere (either 3.5 or 4 inch hones nothing in between) nice build BTW 👍

How do you compare the G4 to D5? Do you still use the g4?

They re two different types of chassis. The G4 is very balanced with a top weight shift battery. Lots of sideways traction. Fun chassis all and all. The D5 is rear heavy squat.it is fast and competitive enough to keep up with the name brand.

Do I need a low profile servo for this or can a standard size one fit? Also does this kit come with all the tools needed to build it like a cross wrench or screw drivers?

You can fit standard size servo. There is enough room for two servos. It comes with some tools but the assembly will go less painful with a tool set of your own.

You can also leave everything in place and just remove the front wheel axles. It will keep the inertia movement produced by the front pulley.

So your over fenders are just held on by those small pieces of metal?

No there re rivets all around the entire rear quarters on both side. Where ever applicable, rivets re used to permanently mount the side skirts, rear quarters, and rear bumper.

I used very generic ebay seat slider for racing bucket seats that uses side mount bracket. Works fine with no holes drilling needed

Thank you so much! I'm building my first drifter and I really like this kit, the quality seems outstanding for the price but I was slightly put off by the AWD. But seeing as it is super easy to convert it, I'm definitely getting it! What kind of motor/ESC combo would you suggest to start out with? I need something low budget, preferably under €80. I was looking at the Hobbywing QuicRun 1/10 Brushless Sensored System 120A ESC w/ 13.5T kit. Includes ESC, motor, fan for $79. Would it be a good place to start? Thanks!
