You are correct, they eat plankton, they have Rakers in there gills to filter the plankton, we have the best spawning population of them in the world on our waterway , several lakes in a row all power generated dams , they thrive here

Just a quick tip , when running a long bar ,especially in hard wood , keep the throttle wide open as you draw it out of the cut , there are alot of of chips and if you let off the throttle it will bind every time , be safe

A hard had and chaps isn't gonna save you from anything but a bird pooping on your head , and for knowing how dangerous cutting trees down , I know we'll, you seen I got way back , way early , so so dangerous, I cut down 32 this month , I'm not a expert but far from complacent

Its a ms 311 with a 25 in bar , new saw , I believe they claimed in was fuel injected , it seems to be running better after I've used it a bit ,
