They sound like a rail grinder

The sound of JT8Ds shutting down is a beautiful sound, as it reminds me of coming home after a long day at work and settling down onto the couch to relax. High bypass fanjets of today don’t have such a melodic sound. Not even close.

ich denke das es zufall war, das er mit der agx 732 geflogen ist. jat airways hat die agx maschine zur zeit gemietet, weil ein grosser teil der ju flotte ausser gefecht ist und sie mit ihren paar einsatzfähigen fliegern den flugplan nicht durchführen können. für mich persönlich, als serbe ist es eine schande sehen zu müssen, mit was für flieger sie nach deutschland fliegen im jahre 2013! eine ethiopian airlines hat sogar modernere flugzeuge.

Zoom Airways and Sky Capital Airlines......both cargo based airlines operated Lockheed L-1011 Tristars.......they are a common sight at Dhaka Airport's Cargo Area!!!

I think you are thinking of NDB's, of which Canada still has a whole ton (because they generally work beyond line of sight up north and cheap to maintain) but the U.S is limiting because of the coverage of VOR stations and GPS (GPS being the prime replacement for an NDB approach). Totally agree though with the wanting to fly the 727.

und man achte auf das aus dem Wagenchassis ablaufende Wasser am Schluß ;) have attention to the noise of water droped down at the end of the video

bin bis über die Mitte zu Fuß rein um Tiefe zu checken - aber das war arschkalt eh !!!

Geschaut und ggf. auch zu Fuß bis zur Hälfte reingegangen. Zudem stehen an jeder Furt Hinweistafeln zur ungefähren Wassertiefe und Ideallinie. Danke! :)
