@PopcornHeads3 I'll never forget how my mom brought me to the movie theater and when the beginning of the credits started with that amazing John Williams music building up to those horns going dit dit diiiiiii dit dit dit dit dit diiiiiiiiii. I was already sucked in. Then they didn't show Superman in the beginning. They went on to Krypton and how a baby was sent to Earth and the baby growing up in Smallville while showing little hints of him being super strong. Then later in Metropolis when Lois was in trouble, the great John Williams music from the beginning credits starts to build up again then you get the feeling something big is gonna happen. Then Clark pulls open his shirt to reveal the Superman symbol under his shirt with those horns sounding again had me excited to see it's Superman! Then when Chris Reeve was flying to save Lois, I was in awe. Plus how kind and caring and considerate Superman was and at the end when Chris is flying and smiles at the camera made me believe that Superman is real. And it made me love and admire Christopher Reeve.

While there’s debate about his exact appearance, he was definitely of North African ancestry, and most scholars place his skin tone somewhere in the Mediterranean range. However, it’s important to remember that being African was central to his identity as a Carthaginian general . Also thanks for the info regarding his ancestry. I was also more responding to "don't know of any any black emperors or black leaders in Rome except for Hannibal" which he was African yes, but not necessarily black. Appreciate the additional info you provided all around. Roman history is in my opinion one of the most interesting parts of history.
