JI appreciate the discussion about how organizations should properly utilize AI versus throwing brand development and creating ineffective products. I also appreciate the practicality of engaging with consumers building on empathy and acknowledging individuals needs to solve their problems. As much as I don't enjoy grocery shopping, as Brett discusses, getting out there witnessing and learning from consumer behavior is paramount to being an effective marketing professional. Great interview.

@NealSchaffer21 күн бұрын
In order to set up rich pins you need to verify that you own the website. Amazon probably already has rich pins set up for their products, but not sure how they work on Pinterest with an affiliate link.

@@NealSchaffer Indeed! thank you so much for engaging in conversation. I love connecting with like-minded individuals, especially entrepreneurs, right? We're like aliens. It's hard to even talk to my wife about some of the stuff I do. It's like over their head. Anyways, super excited to connect with you. And I was just wondering if you had a podcast or any kind of KZbin show that you do. I have one myself. It's called The Goat Show, which is for beginner entrepreneurs. And I have a show coming up that I'm going to be creating and also a podcast called My First Million. And I was just curious if you had anything going on. I would love to cross-pollinate. I'd love to share my story, kind of like where I've been and who I help and all these different things. It's all about value. I'm not going to pitch on your stuff. I just want to put myself out there and get better at the interview process and just kind of diving into the whole networking thing. I'm building my Dream 100 right now as we speak, and actually you're on my Dream 100. So I would love to connect with you if possible??

I'm curious. Do you think you got value for your money out of Vid Summit? I have heard other reviews that were more negative. Do you think the price point of this conference is worth what you got out of it? How do you think it could be better?
@NealSchaffer5 ай бұрын
Hi Amy, well, the earlier you buy your ticket the cheaper it is, so I already have my ticket for VidSummit 2024. That should tell you that I believe I am getting my money's worth attending VidSummit three years in a row! Like any other conference, you get out of it what you put into it. There are tons of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and the ability to engage with a lot of related vendors that can allow you to better invest your time and energy going forward. Of course, the ultimate value is what you do with that information after you attend. So the clearer your objective is, the better your experience and ROI will be, Finally, there really is no other conference like VidSummit that exists, so if you want to improve your KZbin and video marketing, I don't know of an alternative that exists! Hope the above makes sense - feel free to follow up with me if you have additional questions!

@@NealSchaffer Thanks for the swift response. Have you been to VidCon or Playlist? And how would you compare these if you have?
@NealSchaffer5 ай бұрын
@@amysiciliani6517 So I have never heard of Playlist and have never been to VidCon, but my feeling is that VidCon is more for industry people or fans of creators. VidSummit is for creators as well as businesses who want to improve their KZbin/video marketing game. I am not sure which camp you fall into, but hope this helps.

How do the credits work? Is it one credit to download, create and pin to Pinterest, or would that be 3 credits?
@NealSchaffer Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the delay! They have changed the way that credits work, so I would definitely reach out to them as their verbage is vague. I got the AppSumo deal so I have a ton of credits, but I believe that every image pin requires 1 credit, video pin requires 5 credits, and every instance of AI text writing (for each title or description) requires 0.5 pin credits each. So I only think you are charged 1 credit for each image pin so long as you don't use their AI, but once again I would reach out to them to make sure. I schedule 12 pins a day and haven't run into any issues. Hope this helps!
