@@peteschannel508 that’s good to know!!! Thanks I appreciate it, for some reason I keep loosing drive to the front or rear, the diffs are in perfect shape, and I can’t figure out the actuall issue, I lock tight all the drive cuffs down but they don’t seem to hold on ever.

@@PopesterRc hum I will need to pay attention to that. I've had the grub screw back off before and loose the rear or front drive but normally tighten back up and back to running.

no ive already inspected it and its the main bevel gears in the trans

yah i was able to figure out the issue, the trans case was cracked and letting the spur gear and main bevel gears move sich would cause the slipping, and the noise i would hear was the bevel gears smacking together and stripping

it ended up being a transmission problem, the case was cracked forcing the main bevel gears to strip and the spur gear shaft to move around under big loads

from the spec 4.1? the insulated carb? ppl still have issues with that one, although i have that carb on my seled back plate lrp and it runs good, but this is a good carb for this engine the hobao carb, i jsut neeed to rebuild it, wich UPDATE i just did right this moment tested the truck again and it is running 1000% better and rips 100 times more

yes i agree with you, the issue i was running into with leaning it out more then what i ended up with was it pinging like crazy, also i found a deeper issue with the trans and the clutch shoes wich is the main culprit in my issue it seems, the trans is cracked where the spur gear assembly went causing it to shift and the main bevel gears to not be flush, and the clutch shoes are completely destroyed and need to be either replaced or filed down. but thank you for the input !

i have tried locking down the slipper all the way, it doesnt seem to help, and i wouldnt know where to get a smaller spur gear for this.

all in all i think its a bigger issue witht he trans or something along those lines

the lrp .32 is a little overkill honestly, and does give some issues with diffs and the center drive train meaning the trans, luckily i have a doner car and can rebuild and replace broken things, i honestly might down grade it to a .28 or something like that to keep parts from breaking

@@PopesterRc The Dynamite .28 is a great, reliable and simple to tune engine, and it pushes my MMT along pretty good, great top speed, but not a whole lot of torque. These are big trucks!

@@Nitro_rc_life yah it s ahit or miss, honestly im becoming more and more let down with gopro's and there software, they have so many issues and more then half the time ur videos are ruined bc it didnt work correctly or something stupid
