I bought mine as a rack system in 1983. I still have the amp, matching tuner, casette and turn table. I no longer have the rack/stand or the speakers. I am getting DC current on the left channel that is blowing the fuse in the CA-800 preamp. The right channel plays loud and clear.

What kind of twisted laws do you have in your country? If a guitar arrived in that condition I’d be livid & straight on the phone to get the company to sort that mess out. A guitar shop who tells you a 10% restock fee if you send back a faulty guitar they sent you is a corrupt guitar store and should be closed down. The guitar was insufficiently packed and probably sent out in that condition by the seller. It’s possible they did this to blame the courier to make a claim. You are paying thousands of dollars for a guitar & should expect no less than perfect. Something doesn’t add up here. Get on the phone to your lawyer if that’s not resolved. Total disgrace.
