Cool setup honestly, I've been doing landscaping for one season and I stuff a little push mower in my trunk lol. I'm thinking of buying a crappy used pickup truck to do something that you're doing here. Also amazing stripes!
No hydraulics needed on my boss either if I don’t want to use the switch and it mounts in half the time.

I carry a 55 gallon drum of concrete for weight in my 1966 Jeep J-2000 when plowing and go thru most snow. You were smart to get the regular cab short bed pickup, as the shorter wheelbase for plowing the better. Thanks for the video.

@practicemakesperfect84447 ай бұрын
Not quite sure I'd call a silverado a small truck haha- Even a shortbed regular cab. I was thinking more along the lines of a ranger or other compact lolol In any case, if you'd like your truck to plow better in the snow, put some weight in the bed. Letting it fill with snow is a good option, but also bricks/cinder blocks or what-have-you are decent as well. Having more weight is what allows your truck to sink down onto and into the snow. In this case you wouldn't want to float on top of the snow since you'll be pushing too much weight. A demonstration on this was done by Tyre Reviews in a video called: "Does More Weight = More Grip On Snow? The Ultimate Test!" and having more weight offers much higher traction. Just a neat tip! Also, having good tires makes far more difference than one could imagine- You don't necessarily have to get snow tires, but do some research on what performs best in the snow! That all being said, I love your truck and it performed very well. Great video!

We were just in shorts on the 11th Jan 20024. 😢 Btw Texas has lowered its frost line water lines. Mine are now like 2ft. Lol😂 And i learned why u northern states have basements. In Texas its for tornados, manCaves, and wine cellars. Yall they keep their utilities and washer n dryer in the basement. Makes so much sense! 😮

Do all Tuscany faucets use the same cartridge? Ours is fairly new but have no idea what part number it is.
@JoshGavol9 ай бұрын
The easiest thing to do if the faucet is still made is try to find it listed somewhere. Then you could find the parts it uses. Otherwise you would have to pull the cartridge out first to find a replacement.

How does your truck handle the wet heavier snow? I also plow with a half ton truck. I had to run more aggressive tires and carry a little more salt on hand so i could get the traction i needed to plow all my jobs. Great video
@JoshGavol9 ай бұрын
Longer pushes with wet heavy snow it will start to lose traction. I usually have 6-50 lb bags of salt in the back to help with traction. Most of the time I don't have any issues. Try to take half width of the plow or if it's a big storm plow before half way through so it's not so much at once.

@JoshGavol my f150 and boss 8 foot 2 v plow usually let's me know right away if I can run full blade or half. I am on season 8 with my setup and I had to replace front end parts and new set of plow tires. But I love pushing snow because it gets me off the farm and is a great second income.
