I got back into the hobby full-time during the peak of the pandemic in 2020. prior to then, I never even considered getting any of my collection graded. As a matter of fact, even my LCS in Jacksonville, Panama City and Orlando, Florida weren't into grading cards. Then, after watching a ton of YouTude submission and reveal videos, I quickly recognized that the "BIG BOYS" in the industry was PSA, BGS and SGC, but has you know, back in 2020, PSA and SGC had long, long, loooooong turn-over times and PSA, even stopped accepting orders, due to the backlog. So, there was one company that stuck out, BUT, for some strange reason, people were skeptical to use them and they were GMA. Now, I initially , I, too was skeptical of GMA, as reports were it started with a guy grading in his garage, and their slabs had that God-awful perforated white label in the slabs. But, due to not having any other options, I heavily considered using GMA, then they enhanced and improved their slabs, removing that ridiculous white, perforated label and upgrading to a more robust slab and black label. So, then i was high on GMA, as even some popular KZbinrs started using them. Now, I knew that GMA's resell value was trash compared the BGS, SGC and of course, PSA, but as a collector, I heavily considered getting items from my personal collection(PC) slabbed. I ended up not getting any of my cards graded, by any company, but instead, I focused on just buying graded cards, and the first four graded cards I bought were GMA slabs, with that awful white, perforated label. These players cost my $5 each each, on eBay, because they were in GMA slabs, but the same cards graded by PSA were obtaining two to three or even four times to return for GMA slabs for the same cards. I agree 100% with you that GMA is prime for low-end/middle-level cards, as anything more expensive should go through SGC or PSA, but if you are a collector, who will simply add the card to your graded personal collection, then why does the company matter? Just has long as they properly grade, slabbed and protect the card! With that said, I still have not personally gotten either of my cars graded, with any company, because i wanted to wait and see if GMA's secondary market value would have increased or expanded due to how great their slabs look and their exceptionally fast turn around times. There are some smaller grading companies that have beautiful slabs, (GMA, TAG, and HGA) AND offer quick turn-around times. So, i have a ton of low-end items, both traditional and vintage that i am considering submitting to either SGC or GMA(for my personal collection.

I found an auto at the Family Dollar store near me ... Auto of Hunter Renfro WR of the Vegas Raiders and I found a Green Wave in a Absolute football numbered 20 out of 50.!!! Also found some Wemby's in the NBA Hoops packs they had also.!! @ The Real AP...# Atlanta GA in the building......

Yes I would. For low to mid-end value cards mind you. Anything over $80 probably should go to PSA. Because even at $25 a slab, with base values that high, you could expect to eclipse the cost with the larger margin you'd enjoy with the preferred brand. For a middle of the road, consider SGA, whom PSA had recently acquired as a brand and has imo the best looking slabs out there.

I have some stuff worth a lot more that I'll be sending to PSA. But you're right, There were a couple of these that probably should've went to PSA. $25 vs $10 adds up quick for bulk stuff.

Well, that's good feedback! You're not alone on that opinion either. I like them but I see people buying on Whatnot that definitely don't. & These definitely don't command the value & demand of PSA slabs but they are less than half the cost. SGC & ISA are some good alternatives, albeit not as cheap. Thanks for watching!

No value on market, good waste of money. SGC has 5-10 day turnaround for like same price, PSA has been returning in 3 weeks

@@TheGuavaGuy the time isn't so much an issue as the money. $10 a card is pretty tempting. They do have value, just not as much. And I think that does become an issue the more high end we're talking about. In the sense that the margin stays the same but the dollar amount of the difference increases exponentially. To your point, I will likely do a submission with SGC soon of some mid range stuff and my high value items will definitely go to PSA. SGC seems like a great middle of the road and ISA recently advertised as low as $11 per card with a promo code.

It wasn't clickbait. The product was unopened and there's allegedly still a Mantle floating around out there. Look it up. Topps inserted cards from every year in the 40th anniversary boxes. My odds weren't good. But it was still an exciting find. And I didn't know if it was or wasn't there until I ripped it in the video. That was the whole point. I'm sorry you didn't like it. I wear a GoPro on the hunts. And I use my phone on the openings because it focuses better than my camera does. The up close movements agitate the lens a lot. Thank you for watching!

I thought about ripping them on the show but my rip videos seem to tank. I think everyone just wants to see card show vids. Which hey, Im grateful they wanna see anything and I definitely will deliver. But my newest vid was a Wild Card rip and very few people tuned in unfortunately. The Hoops box had some great cracked ice rookies and the Bowman U box definitely had a hit though Im struggling to remember what it was. Check out the wild card vid tho & let me know what you think. I really would love to do more rip vids.

I bought 2 of the wildchrome promo boxes when I was at a card shop in Miami and I was very happy with what I got, I also got a Stroud /5 from an /10 pack that I bought on its own.

@@sportscardhub6388 West Palm Beach has a couple nice shops too but Miami and Fort Lauderdale are where the majority of them are for South Florida, St Augustine nowadays actually has an Antique mall where someone has the motherload of packs for sale and other misc things
