Can anyone tell me what is pile driving ?
@Teleme21126 жыл бұрын
It is an engineering method to improve soil or ground capacity to hold structures above and underground. There are several methods of pile driving; depending on soil geotechnical study undertaken such as the one in the video precast (maybe also pre-stressed) concrete piles, bored piles, auger pile or deep cement mix piling. Hope I have contributed even a little knowledge.

Wow! I would get that worker away from the pile while it is getting hammered!! What if that pile buckles and cuts that worker in half.
@reamannmacbiatiagh20575 жыл бұрын
Then you would have a buckled pile and need to find a new worker!

concrete placed too dry...vibrator should have been in the formwork before the concrete and pulled up as the concrete came up...thats why the honeycomb. The base of the column is not completely supported by concrete. The guy riding on the concrete hopper! WTF! Thats not how we do things here in Canada...well not in the commercial concrete industry anyways...residential housing...yeah.

In theory yes, the blow sound can cause some serious hearing problems... however practically, they (worker) never use it

is really 35 ton hammer?. i dont think that machine can support that wieght. but whatever it is. this is the best job ever. 👍
@guamagrande8 жыл бұрын
35 ton is that pile capacity...
@perundingprimareka28828 жыл бұрын
+Andres Fernandez 35 tonnes is too low for that pile size. Most likely 3.5 tonne hammer weight.

@alandobbs409712 жыл бұрын
he welded them. The ends of each pile is made of metal to stop the cencrete cracking whrn it is being put into the ground so if two piles are needed they can be welded

@MillyVanillification well, you often hit things in the ground, and once you get the pile down so far, you may not be able to pull it back out. plus, this video, they aren't really using string lines to line the pile up right, which tells me they don't much care abouth they're trade.
