I LOVE this so much! ❤❤❤ I was a foster child with a wonderful single foster mom, she saved my life. I would have been a statistic without her. She passed away years ago now... I still miss her. I LOVE YOU MOM! ❤

This resonates with me as someone with Latin American roots partnered up with an Italian American. He's always mind blown that I eat extremely hot (in temperature) food and grab hot food from the pan. I am always like OHHHHHHH-K. I think it's easier for us folks that actually cook.

I almost drowned in my swim class in school. Since then, I get panicked in deep water. I started taking swim classes as an adult. You should do it too, Peter. I'm glad you're not letting your fear keep you from letting them learn how to swim. You never know when you might need it.

You are a stellar parent for making sure they know how to swim, Peter. My parents didn't swim and so I didn't learn and I was TERRIFIED of pools, rivers, the ocean, which was very embarrassing being invited to 'pool parties'. I SO wish I had gotten swimming lessons as a child but I learned at the age of 20 and loved it!!! I missed all those years of enjoying swimming and, instead, stood in fear hoping no one would throw me in.

Does it really count as asking their permission if you're filming them? I'm not saying they wouldn't still say yes if they were not on camera, but putting their response on camera adds an unto pressure onto the question. Especially if they know that you are posting on social media. P.S. it's so cute to see how enthusiastic the youngest boy is, but I would make sure to take time and listen to the older childrens requests for boundaries in this moment. It doesn't sound like it was immediately acknowledged. Which is important for helping them create good relationships as adults. I know you are doing great, and doing amazing work. But every parent on this planet has room to improve, and this is just my 3rd party perspective in the hopes that it can further help your children.

Love these videos. Would love if more parents would put these kinds of videos instead of the ones where the kids are disrespectful. I just seen one where the parents did a skit where they were running away from their teen bc he was in a really bad mood and mouthing back. I’m sitting here thinking, my kids can’t relate and would never relate to that. I know they’re just skits but young kids pick up on these bad behaviors and think it’s normal.
