Really good. Jan played it with a missing finger having lost it in a trailer hitch incident. Looks like that would have made it a bit more difficult to play but I don't know.

I tend to agree. Thanks for listening. I suspect it would’ve been easier with that missing finger although whatever obstacle he overcame added to the “edge of your seat” energy of this particular solo, as I experienced. It’s not easy!

I can't quite work out the point of your unpleasant comment. True, if we're nitpicking, the tone isn't right, but it's unfair to call it " sloppy ". It's a decent stab at a difficult piece, especially as Alvin Lee had a unique style and talent.
