I'll assume you've finished the game since that comment so ... if you haven't figured it out yet, yes he is He's actually Thomyris' real son (he and Ghassan were switched after his birth because his two elder siblings died and she suspected someone was killing them), it's indirectly confirmed through - the impossible climb (the physician recognizes Sargon's eyes upon meeting him, and then his note indicates that Thomyris' son's eyes had changed after they took him away following his birth) - King Darius mentioning that Sargon had the blood of the betrayer - The Prophecy of Mount Qaf, which discusses three princes (Sargon, Ghassan and Vharam) - a hero prince (Sargon), a pawn prince (Ghassan) and the evil prince (Vharam) -> all three represented on the picture
