Youre going to like the plastic lids much more. Id like to suggest that instead of 2 filters (1 provides plenty of GE), that you place a single filter and also add a red 20mm injection port. Also, I dont know if youre aware or not, but these plastic modded lids do not require the foil hats, nor do they need to be loosened at all. You can tighten them down and put them right in the PC with no foil. A great advantage over unmodded metal lids

I know this may sound critical, I get that, but its the only way I have to communicate with you until YT allows some type of messaging system. Im not trying to be harsh with critique, I just want to help you get better harvests. That being said, I would like to address your GE holes. You have what looks to be 3-2" holes drilled on each long side, and another 2 on each end. This will produce much more FAE than is required or suggested for what I am assuming is an ungasketed 33qt Sterlite tubs. Please correct me if I am wrong on any part of your setup, I am making educated guesses on what I can see in your video. Too much FAE can be detrimental to your harvest, leaving you with smaller/less/hollow fruits, by drying out your substrate much faster. Fruits are 90% (or more) water, and hydration plays a massive part in fruits size, density, and population. Youre almost doubling the recommended GE, it may behoove you to cover up some of those holes. One on each end, and 2 on each side is more than adequate. Also, if youre looking for subsequent flushes I would recommend a full 6hr dunk of your fruiting blocks. Find something to weigh the cakes down so that they are fully submerged for the full 6hrs. This will help greatly with proper hydration of your fruiting blocks, and give you larger, fuller, more dense flushes. Hope this info reaches you, and helps with more bountiful harvests. Good video, and Happy Cultivating 🤍

Do not get frustrated if youre dealing with contamination in your grain phase when youre inoculating with spores. Spores are inherently dirty, and it is not recommended to go MSS to grains without cleaning it up on agar first. You may still get some viable spawn, but the tam rate will be much higher. That being said, if youre already factoring for the elevated loss, you will likely still have some success. Just keep your head up my guy

Thats a real shame. Fiji is a nice ride. Might not have the potency others do, but but its onset is normally nice and smooth.

Drippy Corn does not include the use of gypsum in bottom of the jars, its suppose to be vermiculite. Also, sterilization cycle is 150min.

@@DruryLaneMushrooms I was actually part of the creation of Drippy Corn Tek. A small part, but involved with its inception none the less. Stunnin21 is the originator of Drippy Corn, and I helped him refine cook times, and adapt it to whole kernel feed corn as well. Im currently working on transposing this tek toward Instapot as well for those that cannot yet afford a PC, but can find a used Instapot on FB marketplace for like $15. PGT got the recipe second hand, and has some discrepancies (like cook times, and a couple other things). If you look at his Drippy Corn video you can see PGT and I talking to one another in the comments section. Also, his video does indeed mention vermiculite, and not gypsum. Although he didnt use the verm in his video, he did mention it was part of the recipe. As far as credentials go, as in if I truly know what Im talking about when it comes to this tek, in the beginning of PGTs Drippy Corn video he does a shout out to both Stunnin21 and me for the tek. Also, if youre interested in trying the real recipe, check out my channel. I have an in-depth walkthru on Drippy Corn, not only showcasing the tek step by step, but also explaining the purpose and benefits of each step/ingredient. Have a great day, and Happy Cultivating!
