I’m not sure if there is something wrong with the audio, however, the original was in A minor this one they’re playing a half a step lower

Yea theyve been using Eb and D as default tuning for the last couple of decades, probably to help Klaus in the higher notes

I had seen them at the monsters of rock back in 88 or 89 at giants stadium. They were probably the best band on the bill or right up there with Van Halen that night. Had to have been at least a 9 hour day and a hot one

As Far as I'm concerned the Scorpions started , Triumphed , and Excelled to Super Stardom when Matthias Jabs joined this band . He unlocked their Full Writing / Composing Potential in the Metal World . The Michael Shenker / Uli John Roth Scorpions Era was just not their Best Years Really . Scorpions Albums from 1980 - 1990 are a must Listen from Start to Finish . It's Pretty lame that Rudolph Shenker couldn't design his own Guitar . He is clearly playing his brother Michael Shenker's signature Black on White Flying V Guitar SMFH🙄

To me Scorpions is the proof that you can play guitar in an intermediate level and still be a world class band. It is not all about perfec sound, bends, picking. Sure, maybe in the 80' they did not have so much competition, but of you compare their technique to that of a lot of unknown guitar vloggers, it does not look good for Mathias, and Rudolph... well, well he wrote some of the greatest hits. And Matthias played iconic solos. I really love this band, but what makes them so great is not necesarelly guitar playing skill.

@@guitarandmore69 Rudolf said in an interview that he bought a Flying V in the first place. One day he borrowed it to Michael for a concert and he never wanted another model since then. Nowadays they barely talk to each other, so it's hard to say whether the story is actually true.

@@jucas19 The story about Michael using Rudolfs V and never wanting another type of guitar is true and confirmed by both. But the black and white color scheme was Michaels idea and his thing. And that's what I'm referring to.

Two unsung heroes of metal rock! Grew up listening to them and never came across any other band or performer coming even close to intricately weaving so much beauty in heavy metal guitaring with such memorable riffs, chordlines and harmony. And their tonal signature in all their songs has always stood out uniquely sweet amidst the massive jungle of rock. Huge respect to this duo and The Scorpions. Thank you for the music. 🙏🏻👏👏👏❤️
