thanks for this review, does it pick up your voice if you have the mic further away, lets say 50-60cm away from you on top fo your desk? How does perform in discord? I have watched some other reviews and some say it has low gain. Im also looking at hyperx solocast as a better option, what do you think?
@OneHandOnTech2 ай бұрын
Hi! Well if you move it away from your sound source (mouth), you have to increase the gain. And when you do that the mic picks up more sounds around you for eg. PC fans, squeezing chair, or other people. So often you must keep it as close as possible. Works well with Discord, no issues there. I don't have experience on the Solocast, I'll see if I can get my hands on one in the future :)

like is it controlling the volume at which you hear your mic, or the sensitivity of the mic
@OneHandOnTech3 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes, the blue lights that move when you move the knob tell the level of gain. Gain in the distance of how far the microphone pickups the sound no matter what the pattern is.
@OneHandOnTech3 ай бұрын
Yes, that is also correct. You can also hear your own voice (what the mic picks up) from the headphones when they are connected. Gain defines what you hear (how far you hear the sounds that the mic picks.)

Why can't they make a full sized keyboard "With attached palmrest that doesn't suck and stop working like the G613. So sick of these tiny keyboards
@OneHandOnTech3 ай бұрын
I've been lately using HyperX palmrest with my G915 - it works quite nice as both are slim models. On my gaming keyboard, the Keychron - I ended up using standart Kensington as it was pretty same height as the KB.

Hi there, I use the same earpieces and they are quite decent. They have one major/dealbreaking problem though, is there any way to solve it? Major issue: when you touch the sides of the earbuds they either pause music (good), or they make my iPhone call the most recent contact (bad). Which is VERY annoying and never - ever - what you want your earbuds to do. I agree, changing the rubber pads is also quite frustrating. Also, when the battery of one of the ears is near empty, it warns you with a very loud signal sound, so loud that it actually hurts my ears. And it repeats every like 20 or 30 seconds.
@OneHandOnTech4 ай бұрын
Hi! Sadly there is not a fix for this issue and that is the reason why I did also stop using these daily - I did end making daily "pocket calls" when putting them in my ears. I did always push it down once and it automatically called to last number. For that reason, I don't feel anymore that I can recommend these - basically some entry TWS set from eg. JBL could be better because they have a software where you can change what touching the ear piece does.
@EleanorNL4 ай бұрын
@@OneHandOnTech Thanks for your swift response. It means a lot knowing that we both shared in the same suffering through the unwanted pocket calls, hehe. Shame, because apart from that they are really nice for a low price. Have a nice day!

hey bro , thanks for the vid. Are optical switches better for gaming than mechanical switches? I'm asking because Logitech doesn't have any gaming keyboards that use optical switches yet.
@OneHandOnTech4 ай бұрын
Keychron has a nice comparison page about these: www.keychron.com/blogs/news/what-is-optical-switch-and-why-choose-it In a nutshell; optical switches are faster and the should last longer. But so far they are not hot-swappable, so you can't really change them if you don't like them. Compared to mechanical ones where there are tons of different switches these days :)

@@OneHandOnTechthe AMD version really outshines the Intel
@OneHandOnTech5 ай бұрын
Most likely, this is kind of the first gen try for Intel as with the AMD there have been devices available for some years so the Zen processors are more tuned for this. But I'm still hopeful that the NPU this device has will be utilized better in games in coming years - so in future this might actually be a good gaming devise. But that is all up to how software development for the NPU's goes on.

The cost of batteries depends upon the size: here in the U.S. the 4ah battery sells for around $25-$30; if they're charging 50 Euros for the same size battery, then that's very expensive. My local store had the single charger on sale for $5, and the dual battery charger sells for around $25-$30. I use Ridgid power tools and the cheapest I can get their dual battery charger for is $119 - big difference. The great thing about the Parkside tools is the 3 year warranty, although to be honest, these tools are solid and seem like they're built to last. I've purchased a number of battery-powered Parkland tools for garden work: lawn mower (double battery), chainsaw, pole chainsaw, line trimmer, vacuum/blower, and hedge trimmer. So far, I haven't had an issue with any of them. In Europe, Parkside has a huge product catalog - stuff that sadly, is not available here in the US.
@OneHandOnTech6 ай бұрын
Thanks for sharing - I did not know that batteries are so cheap in US, little envy to you for that :) Yeah, the overall feel of the tool is solid - so I do believe that this will last long. I've also purchased another tool from Parkside, I just need to find time to shoot the video.
