He will definitely want to pitch for as long as he can. He said that the struggle with just being a DH is that he had more control over the game as a pitcher. He would have to give up having control over 30 of 160 games. Theoretically speaking he could throw a perfect game and hit a homer and win the entire game just with a bit of support from his teammates. That kind of control would be hard to let go of.

48 years a Giants season ticket owner and I can say Daniel Jones is by far the biggest fraud bust I have seen as a starting QB ever. Drafting another fraud after drafting Dave Brown out of Duke in the 90s was insane, but then paying Daniel Jones as an elite is doubling down on craziness. Bench the bum now, cut him in 2025.

Always hate who is the GOAT conversation as the game, the equipment and the players have changed so much from era to era, sometimes it majes it impossible to compare them to each other, saying that. Shohei is not the GOAT, yet. He is still very early in his MLB career, and you never know what the future may hold, but if he continues along as he is, will deffinatly will be in the conversation for the GOAT, specially if he continues success on both sides of the plate.
