Not even you believes this, LOL... I do not mean air engines, they are OLD, and they have always worked well. I mean the part about being more efficient... but do not worry, the general public doesn't know that, so you can lie at your heart's content.

This is pretty neat, but I’m not so sure he invented the engine to run on air… I saw a documentary many years ago where this was being used in India… The cars had 4 cyl engines and the pressurized tanks were in the trunk… they ran a 4 cyl internal combustion engine on compressed air. This guy may have created the rotary like version of the engine… but either way this is pretty cool and I hope it takes off and becomes available in North America….

More scan BS. Pneumatic systems are very inefficient. Rule of thumb for industrial pneumatics is 12% efficiency. Compressing air is not energy-efficient or free,

Hi, I am Graeme John Eddington. Following is my KZbin post of my Multi-speed transmission I have called: "Opposing Torque Dynamic Clutch" which is a type of Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) which I believe is ideal for your current applications. Australian Patent Number: 2020201132. Motor 1 tries to rotate the carrier counter-clockwise and Motor 2 tries to rotate the carrier clockwise. The ratio, acceleration and speed of the vehicle is controlled by the amount and proportion of power/torque from the two motors. In addition the ratio of the transmission is affected by the speed and load of the vehicle. So, with the aid of speed sensors on all the components of the transmission, the speed of the vehicle, position of the accelerator and a kick-down switch - all that is needed to control the whole system is a computer. There is no actual gear selector for the driver to operate, however a manual mode would be appropriate where the driver has a 'balance' control knob that manually controls the proportion of power/torque to each motor and therefore can choose any ratio desired for the driving situation. An added enhancement could be added to the transmission by having a traditional planetary overdrive attached to each of the motors to enhance the rev range of each motor. This would enable the provision of extra modes like economy mode/sports mode and improve the kick-down mode by inputting more revs when the gearbox is in an extremely low ratio during kick-down operation. Having this type of transmission would improve acceleration and range of the vehicle allowing for a smaller battery pack/lighter weight leading to cost savings and simpler manufacturing. HIgh presure o2 + 10 % LPG NG propane etc and a spark to just give it a kick , not so much as it needing a cooling system just enough to ad 5- 10 hp , or put solar panels on and make HHO and burn that ,

Actually" I had designed an Air-engen" in my late 20's... While working as an engineer in Training. I chuked it in a drawer at the shop, where I worked at the time. But I did bring my architect drawings Home with me, and still have them. As for the reason that I stopped working on it, was my wage at the time" was diagnosed with breast cancer.!! It was an recurring" cancer That we hoped she had beat... Anyway" we buried her in December 1999. Now, since then, I've remarried and had a baby girl,. All at my first wife, making me promise her I would,. Well, enough of that"* It was many years ago* & I am 50, now" and happy I made her that promise to move on with life, remarry, & have at least one child. I kept my promise to her, & don't Regret it at all. I'm devorced from the 2nd, wife" now, at her request of course. We have a buteful girl, that is 18 year's old now, has been on honer roll A+ Student, year's.!! About to start collage.!! So, with ALL - THAT BEHIND ME* I am finally ready to Finish my (air Engine)!!! So, I can use it to power, my RV" By turning my Win - generator to recharge my Batteries..... Undoubtedly they are excellent inventions and I hope that it becomes yet another alternative for mainly collective vehicles. But, do you know how many families depend directly or indirectly (selling clothes, restaurants, bars, etc.) of the jobs generated by manufacturing thousands of parts of conventional engines (combustion engine)?

A Tesla turbine is smaller more powerful per pound, more efficient, and cheaper to build and works perfectly with this application. One problem: very bad startup under load.

There is nothing that comes free in the world, this works only if you can maintain the air preassure in the cylender by pumping back the used air , other wise how much ever compressed air you have in the cylender it goes off, its like a baloon in the air.

The energy you spend in compressing air is always going to be more than you can get out of it when using it, the reason for this is when you compress air it becomes hot and then that heat is lost to the environment, as the air cools the pressure will drop. There are ways to improve the efficiency of compressed air storage but that involves capturing and storing the heat generated during compression and then using that heat to reheat the air as it's expanding during use en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compressed_air_energy_storage

That's it. And what about the compressed air quality (if the motor and/or the control valves require a high quality, as expected, then ...)? And price? And, too, environmental footprint? And the sealings, namelly in the sides? One thing I appreciated: the vanes connected to the stator and not to the rotor (no centrifugal force on them) and the nice profile.
