Do you have suggestions to get under the tongue to stretch the wound?

I am having the same issue. She is so tiny and I’m having a hard time getting underneath her tongue and when I do she draws it back and it falls back down. Hopefully I can get the hang of it. She just had her procedure today.

Adrienne Haskins hi! What helped me was positioning baby so Im behind them, looking down at their face. Baby head is closest to me and feet are pointing away. This way when they open their mouths it’s easier to lift the tongue and it doesn’t automatically want to come back down on my finger. Good luck!
