Hi MariecarPulanco, Zozofest is a local fundraiser that is put on by the Kiwanis Club in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It's a fundraiser for the building and burning of Zozobra each year. The funds from the burning of Zozobra go to sponsor educational events for children. The character of Zozobra is very popular in Santa Fe this is probably why the event is centered around the character.

Thank you for doing that! I am planning a trip Santa Fe to Albuquerque soon and I want to take the train. Wondering if the Albuquerque Old Town is walking distance (like within 1 mile) from the train station? If so what route on foot is most scenic or interesting?

Hi Birgit, I filmed this video pre-pandemic there may be changes to the whole experience that I am unaware of. I mapped out the distance from the downtown station to the Museum of Natural History which is in Old Town and it is about 2 miles. I wouldn't walk there though. There isn't much to see and it seems like crime has risen since the pandemic. I was downtown having lunch with a friend of mine a few weeks ago and it was a little scary walking from my car to the restaurant because of some of the people loitering around. I would suggest if you want to go to Old Town to get an Uber. If you are in Santa Fe on a Saturday between 9am and 2pm I invite you to stop by and see me at the Santa Fe Artists Market in the Santa Fe Railyard. Our booth is Dizzy Lizard Pottery. The Farmer's Market is also there, it's a nice way to spend a Saturday morning/afternoon. Thanks for visiting New Mexico!

I live just east of Albuquerque. I have for 42 years. No it’s not within walking distance but if you ride the Rail Runner you can hop off and on the city buses. The main hub being the train depot in Albuquerque. You would just grab the central Blvd bus (66 or 777 express) which stops at old town or you can Uber for a few bucks.

Thanks Rebecca, that's a good idea. It didn't even occur to me that people wouldn't know who these people were but that is actually one of the main reasons I went to the forum to begin with. Except for Trujillo and Ives I had no idea who the other candidates were. From left to right: Alan Weber, Ronald Trujillo, Joseph Maestes, Peter Ives and Kate Nobel.

I heard a lot of negative about Vietjet Airlines because this airlines does not have reserve plane to replace broke down plane, thus flight cancel or delay constantly happens. I just fly with Vietnam Airlines instead. It is double the price compare to Vietjet , but their flight schedule remain the same.

The external link in U.S. State Department sent you to the third party instead of Vietnam Embassy. I used to get Visa the same way you did back in 2010 and it was 35$ USD. Since 2013, I went through travel agency and they helped me to get Certificate of Visa Exemption which is good for 5 years, and it also good for multi entry with the length of staying up to 180 days. The Cost was 90 $USD
