Thank you so much it worked. I was honestly scared that my 7d mark ii was broken but after I watched this video I was so relieved

I loved the video. My favorite part was the BEEP BEEP part. No, but for real. Those 350's sound good in the Donzi. I have them in my 280 Formula. It sounds like you have the through hull on it. Like the rumble!

Don’t forget get to change out your IAC filter in the Carburetor. $2.50 for two from Mercury dealer. It’s a thumb nail size white filter. Long nose pliers to remove and install.

Update * it’s been over a year since I changed the IAC valve. The boat has been running great and there have been no issues whatsoever. Thank you for the thumbs up. Please follow my page and leave a comment if you have any questions. Thank you

Where did you get your part from? And are you able to share the part number?
@amendolarestudios Жыл бұрын
I got the part at my local marine supplier. The place is called Fred Chall marine supply. It’s in Freeport, Long Island. I don’t have the part number offhand, but if you call them, they’ll be able to tell you over the phone.

Did you have to clear any codes after replacing the IAC valve, and if so how did you do that?
@amendolarestudios Жыл бұрын
To be honest, I didn’t check for any codes. Everything seems to be great and working as it should it now

You’re a mechanic that redid the engines was he a backyard Mechanic or was he a certified shop?

Great video thank you! Had the beeping start last weekend. Also noticed I had to throttle up a little on that engine to get it to start so I’ll replace this valve and see if that does the trick. Quite a price difference between the IAC from Wesr Marine ($148) and Amazon ($27). Where did you get yours?
@amendolarestudios Жыл бұрын
Thank you. Sorry for the late reply. I’m glad that the video helped. I got mine at a local Marine supplier. They had the part at the store. I don’t remember what I paid

We have the same exact problem ! but unfortunately i have no idea where that little piece went :( what should i do if i lost that missing piece ?
@amendolarestudios Жыл бұрын
Oh man! So crazy lol I’m not sure. Might be better to replace the battery pack. Maybe glue a tiny plastic piece there to act like its still there? Idk! Good luck! Let me know how it goes

Replace crank shaft sencer and turn distributor just a little to advance and check spark plugs and clean distributor cap inside at the points and rotor and happy boating

Does your engine hunt back and forth on a cold start for the first 10 seconds or so before smoothing out? Wonder if my iac is getting lazy
@amendolarestudios Жыл бұрын
It did a little bit. Now it’s good. Make sure your batteries are good and charged as well.
@travisconner1581 Жыл бұрын
@amendolarestudios5276 well I mean mine has always done it really since it was brand new

I was told it was normal and it just takes it a few seconds to figure out what the air temp is and such and it runs off the map values of the last time it was ran.

Beautiful!!!. Question.. if milky Way rise /set on my chart says 11pm - 330am is there a best time in between to take pictures or doesn’t matter. Thanks 😊
@amendolarestudios2 жыл бұрын
I use an app called sky guide… it shows me where the milky way core is and I just point and shoot. I go on clear nights.. far away from city lights. New moons are good. Or if they set/rise early. You don’t want the moon out when you’re doing Milky Way. It brings too much light. The Milky Way changes throughout the year. Different times etc. Are usually just go in the middle of the night when it’s dark and I use the Sky Guide app

The time-lapse at the beginning is very nice. Camera, lens, exposure etc?
@amendolarestudios2 жыл бұрын
thank you.... camera used was a canon 7d mark II... (crop sensor) im looking into getting a full frame to get more of the sky/landscape... lens was tokina 11-16mm 2.8... exposure was around maybe 15-20 seconds...
@bhastro99592 жыл бұрын
Nice but the time-lapse is very brief and marred by a bright light. For a longer view (albeit Eleuthera not Montauk) see kzbin.info/www/bejne/gJmmkqybd55kgbs. I live on Long Island and am debating whether to defy the traffic and try Montauk. But I would need to find a safe place to sleep while the camera runs overnight!
