I thought the Immelman Turn was where after performing a diving attack, you turn up, use full rudder to turn your plane to face your enemy to go for another high speed dive attack

Practicing in the box over Long Beach in 2000, I managed a five turn inverted spin in a Robbin. I had only 5,000 ft to start. Mt Baldy was a good horizon reference point Easy peasy. Then I graduated to the Extra 300 yeee haa! 👍🎯🇺🇦🇺🇸

Full size a/c pilot here - how do the ailerons have enough authority to counter the prop torque when the aircraft is stationary? Do RC planes' ailerons run the full span of the wing, in which case that would make sense as they would then fall within the area of influence of the prop's airflow?
@d_kortman
@d_kortman Жыл бұрын
Super late comment, but yes. At least this aircraft here has ailerons along the entire wing. I guess these RC props generate a whole lot of thrust to give the ailerons that much authority with no airspeed other than the prop. And I’m sure it’s only using like 10% of the length of the aileron.

nice vid and manouver 😁, nicely explained. But unless you haven't exercised your thousands of 4 point rolls all you earn is frustration, when you have to recall each stick movement required. But I can tell you from my own experience, that you will be rewarded for the effort 😁. So I look forward exercising the one roll loop 👍

Hi, sorry but you have no idea what a lomcovak is! You use the gyroscopic effect of a propeller and there it depents which directions it turns so you can do only a lomcovak in one direction with a plane depending on the direction of turn of the propeller. Then the aircraft is turning around the axis goijg through the wing and you use rudder to support this!

@@Siddich MB-339 also does this. It's safe to say YOU guys have no idea what it is. Just because the effect is greater on single engine prop planes doesn't mean it's limited to that only. Freaking arm chair pilots.

@@kontoname i did not say, that there are not any better planes for those missions. and the MB-339 also has drawbacks... maybe not in probable scenarios, but still... und btw.: mimimi, was bistn gleich so ne heulsuse, bist bestimmt n pilot, dass du andere arm chair pilots nennst. also ich habe immerhin n paar starts und landungen in meinem flugbuch ;-)

I only do lomcevaks at idle when I’m tumbling to the right, to get a maximum send lomcevak, do it to the left at full power to have the most amount of gyroscopic precession working with you.
