Hi Trevor hope you're well, what could be better than riding in the lovely Dorset countryside on a classic British motorcycle. My late father was a biker back in the day, he had a triumph speed twin. That picture at the beginning looks like a twin, so it's not a Gold Star. It's more likely a Golden Flash. I love this production! BSA should use this for the bike's publicity because that style of comfortable riding is just what the machine is best at. Well done! Did I spot Wimborne? Where did you get those blanking plugs for the handlebar mirror holders?

Interestingly Trev, I was on West Hill probably about the same date you were on East Hill. Just as knackered on the way up. About half way up the final stretch the dairy farmer stopped in his Gator UV to hand me back my wallet that I'd dropped further back down the path. Real gentleman. I have to admit I also took the opportunity to blag a lift to the top of the hill as my sciatica was giving me jyp. lol. Annoyingly, I'd dropped a second coin wallet so was in two minds whether to give up and head back or to go ahead a get the pano I wanted first. I ended up getting the pano, but I didn't find my second wallet on the way back to the car. Happy ending though, as after I got in the car feeling quite despondent, I noticed some kind soul had put my second wallet on the bonnet of the car. It was clear it had been run over, but just a minor issue. Overall, a good day and it had restored my faith in humanity. Note to self: remember to zip up backpack pocket. As for climbing that hill again, we'll wait and see. BTW, based in Ferndown if you ever want to share an adventure.

One of my favourite places that, it has many mood swings although that path going to the boat houses is a less muddy way to get down when it's wet but maybe not as fun. Last time I went was nice and sunny like you could even pretend your in another warmer country with clear warm waters. Anycase place is good to take pictures of in all weathers as something new everytime.

Brilliant stuff Trevor...who doesn't like a bit of grunge. Great selection of photos and I agree the stormtrooper is the star of the show. 🙂

Hi Trevor, I just found your channel and subscribed. I was at Corfe Castle in February but did not walk up the hill as it had been raining and everything was wet. I may be back in October, so I hope to go up to the castle then.

Dorset is a lovely place to be. I will check out that Park as I live in Swindon and often drive straight down to your neck of the woods so to speak. Do you ever go to Hengistbury Head? I love it there

Used to visit these woods for many years, exploring with our young family, but not been back for about 15 years. Your video prompted a return visit last week, and the bluebells were magnificent, despite the mud - many thanks for the heads-up, Trevor !

I can't think why I'd need to use a leveling base with a ball head.

Great video, unfortunately the areas where I normally go for the bluebells has suffered from the heavy rain and people not sticking to the paths through the woods, so I gave up on the bluebell photography this year. I enjoyed that Trevor I've been chasing the bluebells myself last week they were just coming through then this weekend in full bloom nature works quickly, looking forward to your next vlog.

I have not been able to get out this year as yet for bluebells & at times it is such a slim window - the woods I got to has an undergrowth that overtakes the blue bells very quickly - so unsure if I will make it. I do find them quite difficult to photography too, the green seems to dominate the scene even though to the naked eye the bluebells stand out. Nice to see you out n about Trev, bnice natural set of images. I think the fiash eye lens images worked well, could see it working well with tangled branches in a woodland. atb Al

Great video Trevor! It's nice to see somewhere have a good forest management plan in place. About 100 years ago they clear cut the entire state of West Virginia and now 100 years later, they are deciding how to manage it again. No plan. Some really nice documentary style images as well. Visited Wareham forest many times when we used to stay at Wareham forest tourist park with the caravan, even got lost on our way back to the caravan after visiting Woolsbarrow hill fort. It looked bleak, cold, and a lot of sea spray in the air, but not much beats a day out seaside in my opinion! Great video Trevor! Those long exposures were spectacular and I really liked the beach hut image. Great stuff as always my friend. Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!
