Before he liberated the Israelites from Egypt, did God know they would turn on him and make a golden calf?

Aletheia, did God who said "Thou shalt not murder" & hates divorce MAKE King David commit adultery then arrange Uriah's death?

@@aletheia8054 Wow, I appreciate your honesty. We are given several warnings of Balaam's sin in scripture... did God make him use his Prophet status to sell out Himself?

@@aletheia8054 Did God make Balaam make deals with an enemy of Israel? If so, God made Balaam sell-out God Himself... the God of the Israelites in whom Balaam betrayed. Do you believe God MADE Balaam do that? If so, why so many references to not do what Balaam did?

We watched this Christmas morning! Very well done. Isaiah 55:11 “so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” God keeps his promises.

This is a VERY well done Nativity. I recommend everyone, both saved and unsaved, watch this year after year till Christ returns or He calls us home.

Here’s your one verse: “For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.” Romans 8:29-30 Jesus’ atonement is effective for the elect - those he predestined from all eternity. He will not lose a single one of those the Father gave to him. Praise be to God for his ways are higher than our ways!

Correct. Before creation, God knew precisely what would happen throughout all of mortal time. The notion that sinful humans can effect God's will is unbiblical and illogical.

This is an area of scripture that requires major thoughtfulness and study in our Lord Jesus Christ. It prevents both licentiousness or license to sin, and legalism or purely rule/law living. It requires settling with the fact that there are two waring natures that disregards the false teaching of ‘free will’ and brings in principles of nature of ‘being’. Incredibly enough the walk in the positional AND reality truths of our new Risen life in Christ (in the midst of our old self) requires FAITH. This is extremely deep and heavy stuff from the Apostle Paul here given our inherent philosophical views of our nature and will. I appreciate the Pastor preaching and teaching on this as its not taught often. Grace must abound in all of this and these are truths in regards to fellowship and spiritual growth in Christ and not related to keeping ones salvation. “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:8-10
