It strikes me as true that any great teacher would love for it to be the testimony of a student these words are true: "I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. -Psalm 119:99 (ESV)." May misplaced ego never get in the way of me sharing the wonders of Truth and letting Truth work in the hearts of my students to take them farther and deeper than I could ever go. All of my students have one thing in common: Their teacher was a very distracted and flawed student ... ... who became a lifetime learner and lover of knowledge. And he has students that instill in him ... ... a love of teaching.

My first son ask a lot of questions. He wants to know why things are done they way they are. I get frustrated and when he argues, i call it disrespect. Hearing you speak has got me thinking, how to answer him or direct his questioning.

A child can have many friends but only one set of parents and teachers To behave as a friend to a child may not set the correct boundaries for later life. That is why I suppose children and youngsters nowadays behave in that boorish way and it is fashionable to show the finger to your teachers and parents In India there is a age old tradition that parents come first than teachers than God or Guru Sadly in India too by apeing the West we are deteriorating Totally agree with this Speaker Africa and India seem to have much in common
