The problem lies in the fact that Jesus Christ did not die to start a movement, nor is He the Head of a movement. Rather, Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. A glorious bride that He bled and died for. It is certainly a disgrace that this novel revolt (the American Pentecostal/Charismatic movement) against God and His Word has skyrocketed to represent a large portion of Christianity in the west. I have been on the mission field myself and seen the damage. I have sat in meetings with missionaries in hostile areas many times. Our questions has always been the same: "What is your greatest challenge? How can we pray? What can we do?" UNIVERSALLY, the answers to these questions have always been the same in every context. "Our greatest enemy is westernized "christianity". Specifically charismatic influences that poison the local congregations here. Christian television like TBN and Daystar have so divided our efforts. Please pray that God would disallow this into our congregations. And, the most effective thing you can do is to stop sending missionaries with this anti-biblical ideology." It may take some time, but the Charismatic movement will eventually dissolve as quickly as it invaded the Church. Unfortunately, the damage it has brought is incalculable, and folks like Daniel Kolenda continue to propagate and facilitate this damage. If you trace the history of the American Pentecostal/Charismatic movement you will find that this is nothing new. In its inception, the pentecostal/charismatic movement was born in deceptive snake oil trickery and blasphemy. I implore you, research this with an open mind. Do not misunderstand me. I am not speaking about cessationism or continuationism. There are believers in both camps. I am speaking about the post 1901 pentecostal/charismatic movement as a whole (and it goes back further than that). Study to show yourselves approved. This kind of clownish christianity is destroying lives. There are very real victims as a result of these wolves that have infiltrated the community of faith. All of the apostles warned that this would be the case. Not only are there countless victims, the biblical gospel is being ridiculed and mocked because of the snake-oil gospel these salesmen are peddling. Until the actual issue is dealt with, this same story will continue to play itself out. May God have mercy on us.

It's also important to notice that Kim Clement prophesied about the election steal of 2020. I quote 'I see a king falling, there is a wall being build that's not being completed for there was a takeover something that was planned'. Trumps wall was almost completed at the end of his first term but the construction was halted when Biden came in. So if prophets prophesied that he would win in 2020 then they were right, but if they said he would enter office then they were incorrect

All the prophesy we need is in the bible. That's all we get until the two witnesses come in the tribulation and prophesy for a different reason than the prophets in the bible did. In the days of the biblical prophets, if one, just one of their prophesies turned out wrong, they were labeled a false prophet and often stoned to death. You people are wrong constantly. You are not prophets. If you're talking to any spirit at all, it's not of the Lord or the Lord. IF the Lord speaks to someone now it's through the Holy Spirit that dwells within them, and it's not for public consumption because it will relate to their relationship with God in one way or another. It wont be about who is president next or what they do as president. That is something completely different, it's called 'divination', and it's rebuked by the Lord. The people who DO this are rebuked by the Lord not just because they are wrong so often, but because he told people he did not want them doing this in the first place. More likely you're doing it for the sake of deception and/or to make some bucks, and you probably have zero faith to begin with. Many prophesies were not fulfilled in the lifetime of the prophets. We must encourage the prophets - do not be shaken. Speak boldly as you have been told - even if everyone is against you.

Thanks Kolenda for shedding light on the prophetic with Trump as a case in point. I got disappointed when Trump lost in 2020 and I thought all my prayers and fasting was in vain. During that time, the Lord showed me Trump leaving and then coming back. I misinterpreted that and never thought it would be after four years! We are all learning how to understand dreams and prophesies. We need to just state what we see and hear without adding our thoughts. What God has said will speak for itself and people will know it was from God.

The false prophecy came in because the prophecy (at least by several of the American "prophets") was that Trump would win two CONSECUTIVE terms and bring in a thirty year period of peace and prosperity. The majority of the prophets-particularly the loudest voices, such as those on Elijah Streams-clearly stated that Trump would win in 2020/serve consecutive terms. After the election, many of them doubled down, claiming that Biden would never serve as President and that Trump would somehow be reinstated by divine intervention (not through the next election!). Prophets who simply said it would be two terms, without specifying that it would be in 2020/consecutive terms, are in the minority. Just to name a few who made these specific claims: Mark Taylor, Kat Kerr, Hank Kunneman, Johnny Enlow, Julie Green, and Robin D. Bullock. In my opinion, an apology from many of them is appropriate depending on what they said. I love the prophetic, but integrity and accountability are vital for the credibility and future of the prophetic movement.
