It's so so nice to finally see someone doing a phd in applied maths on youtube. And one at a school like imperial as well! Please don't stop making these vlogs as they're really fun to watch but also it's cool to see what a phd student gets up to day to day. For video ideas, maybe a video where you talk about what your phd is about exactly? You don't have to go too deep into the specifics if you don't want to but a nice broad overview on your research would be interesting. So far the only thing I gathered is that you run a lot of simulations 😂 Also because you already mentioned in your videos, two courses in your undergrad that has helped you in your phd (the machine learning one and the group theory one) maybe a video on the courses you took in your umdergrad and how you found them would be nice. And maybe going into detail on which ones you felt were most relevant for your phd or that you just thought were the most interesting. Other video ideas could be about doing a phd at Imperial in general. The application process, what doing a phd at Imperial is really like, if you've taken any courses at Imperial how were they, how much you enjoy your time at imperial, how you find the applied maths department to be like just anything abouth your academic career would be really interesting i believe. Thats all from me for now, hope to see an updated video from you soon ❤

Hey! Thank you so much for the kind message, that means a lot and I'm glad you've been enjoying my videos!! ☺ Great ideas, I'll take notes - I'm thinking of filming a Q&A video soon where I hope I could answer most of those questions :) I just need to sit down and find the time rather than procrastinate it 😅

I have never cleaned a code, gone orienteering, worked in front of a computer for four hours straight, hung out with a fan who blew me ideas. This is why I am very happy that you share your life as a doctoral student on video. Thank you Eloise!
