I watched them live last year and witnessed this song live. That breakdown is where they’d drop the big curtain at the back to reveal the masked mascot background. I had long hair when I attended, I headbanged the living shit out of me when the breakdown came.

The singles of CURE remind me a ton of MUSE's Absolution. Less prog. Heavier tones. Cleaner playing. Can't wait for the album drop.

That part at the end of the song is probably because it will be leading into the next song in the album, which is called End To Excess

Lol thanks for that. Had no idea. Can you also get reactions there to said music? Reactions where they pause the music to react. Then start it again so they don't miss anything or talk through good parts? No? Damn. Glad you take viewer feedback well, though! Good luck!

You should also read the interviews that Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie did where they talk about why rappers took over the rock star mantle. When rock stops indulging in whining and nerdy shit, maybe it'll capture the mainstream's imagination.

I'm so curious about the inspiration for this song, because I got so many vibes of like late 90s early 2000s metal and rock music.. There's another band though that just released a song that's absolutely solid. October Ends - Damaged. Would love to see your reaction on this one.

I am gonna disagree with you, I am a producer, songwriter and engineer myself and I think they’re always very innovative and interesting. I don’t think I can find any recent songs by them that sound like another band. Respect though for stating your opinion.
@AshToneAudio9 ай бұрын
Thank you for the respectful words! I can mis-use my words from time to time. I was just saying to the other chap, that I love this band and feel that theyre one of the most innovative if not the most in heavy music right now. Especially influential. I simply feel like theyre gonna have better ones coming based on what was still a safe formula of a song. With sick ass production, performance and mixing. My gripe is only with the song itself. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@yylfordt61259 ай бұрын
To say this is not innovative at all and rather boring is a horrible take... especially if you yourself produce music. This shit is insane, they always experiment is every new song and stay ahead of the curb. Kinda embarrassing of a take to be honest .
@AshToneAudio9 ай бұрын
Hey, everyone's opinion is welcome even yours. Personal jabs definitely don't aren't necessary but I welcome a healthy debate any day. This is a topic I discuss a lot in my studio. It also seems the "negative" you took out of my statements completely wiped out the "positive". A bummer to discount the positives I offered too of this one song. And I am in agreeance that this is one of the most innovative bands if not the most currently in modern band heavy music. I love everything they do. But not every song is a record breaker. I believe they are going to have more jaw dropping songs in the barrel. That's another way to convey my point of I misspoke. But it is what I felt. I appreciate you watching and commenting either way!
