If your looking for a set up like that go Kaku Zulu, I love mine and super stable and so many options with it. It got like 4 set ups in the back for motor, anchor power poles very comfortable seat.

Lets get something straight, you said this is better than an fg or uni knot--its NOT better than an fg……. Look up surgeons knot vs fg knot, you’ll find all u need to know with actual strength tests. Fg holds 100-110 percent of line strength to break the knot. Surgeons loop is around 70, uni to uni is around 65. Fg knot and similar “finger trap” wrapping knots are the most powerful by far. The reason for this is that fluoro especially and mono too creates a weak point anytime it is folded or cinched. The fg knot and knots like it dont ever fold or cinch the fluoro or mono leader. Instead its only the braid being tied and folded and wrapped around the leader. The leader stays PERFECTLY straight, its actually wrapped up and reinforced, so the knot is thin and actually STRONGER than the regular line strength.

Usually the big gafftop are under the skip jack. We like to eat gaftop. I'lll use a 1 oz chrome cordel jig to get under the skip jacks to the bottom. The gaftop can't resist it

Just saw a video where the double uni, Alberto, and FG were tested for best leader knots. There were 3 different lb test lines with each knot tested and the double uni was the weakest knot in every trial. The FG is easily the strongest but can be tough to tie. The Alberto knot is really strong and easy to tie at the same time. Definitely Alberto knot on top
