We saw only some doe mule deer and grey squirrels. The trail was pretty crowded.

This was in August in about 80 degree breezy weather. We made two water stashes in the shade. One at the bottom of Sewart mountain and one on top of White Mountain ridge. I think I drank 7 or 8 liters total and Nathan drank two liters. Even then my legs were cramping on the way back.

One of my last "main" peaks I still need to summit in the Sespe. Can't wait to finally do it!
