Charlie, in 2004, was small by comparison, but it moved fast at 24mph like this storm. I am a native and have never seen such tree destruction. It looked like a war zone and this with the storm only lasted an hour as it passed overhead. We were all amazed. It reminded me of Hurricane Donna back in 1960 when I was a kid.
