Where did you get the frame? Been looking for a premade frame from a company and then I want to DIY the rest unless I could find a full builder kit not put together, any recommendations?

Love your attention to detail! I have this same frame built for off road with a predator engine, but I plan on converting it to electric eventually. This gives me lots of great ideas. Love how you tucked stuff behind the seat like that. And I like the wood control panel. Really sharp!

That rear tire being on some sort of Piston Shock Armature would've been nice for increased clearance and bump/pothole stability

seen this exact frame and i really want to build one out, thinking about buying a kit from electro and co, im just not that experienced with electrical so im not sure how id get the throttle to go through the pedal edit: either that or i buy the kit and just build out a mini bike

Its a great frame, but if I were to do it again I would defiantly get a used shifter kart frame. The GPS frame was super fun to build its looks super cool and it sits a little higher off the ground so it rides nicely in dirt and grass even with the racing slicks on it but past 30mph the frame feels sketchy, and this thing will do 50mph easy. I used a left over Surron LBX motor and a BAC 4000 controller that I had and it rips but it does over heat pretty quickly if your doing repeated doughnuts and burnouts. The electro and co. kit looks like the way to go and from what I have seen the QS138 90h motor looks like the motor to get.
@cordnog5340 Жыл бұрын
yea i was also thinking about a used shifter cart frame some of the older style ones that are offset to the left are cheaper but you can still find newer built ones and they have a decent bit of room for batteries@@shreddedOat

I am all about the electric motors on things that otherwise wouldn’t make sense. Like nobody’s trying to build a gas powered one wheel. And even a two stroke skateboard would just be stupid. But go carts, motorcycles and cars should have gas engines. Still cheaper and lighter that way. I’m sure it’s a lot of fun though. Just don’t get it wet.
@Esk8Zach Жыл бұрын
The power you can extract from an electric motor should easily offset the weight difference to maintain a similar, if not, better power-to-weight depending on use case. Plus its much quieter for any urban shenanigan's so the local Karen doesn't keep calling the cops lol. As for moisture, a liberal amount of marine grade silicon sealant should do the trick in combination with quality cases.
@jasonhatfield47478 ай бұрын
@@Esk8Zach Noise exactly. If I go screaming down a neighborhood at 50mph with a gas engine, the cops are sure to show up. With an electric cart, no one notices or cares. Plus, the instant torque is a blast...even better than a torque converter.

Anyone who knows karts will never mix with automobiles. The kart goes directly under an automobile moving or parked. Even at low speed it will cripple you, your legs and feet mostly. Like I say no experienced kart racer ever mixes with autos. But hey go ahead. F around and find out the hard way.
