I like the smaller combine you had, we need smaller scale at most farms here. Who makes that one? I was looking at Kincaid. A cat 1 tractor attachment for a standard L Kubota would be ideal. Great video mahalo UVM extension and all involved in hemp.

Super interesting. I’ve always struggled with rye bread. I didn’t get the shaping of the miche bit. They sit in the banetons with the seam side down but then how does it bake - with the seam side up?? Thanks

I would really encourage people to go back to native corn. It is naturally pest resistant, more abundant, and more delicious. It quickly dominates any little weed or grass that it lives with. Honey bees absolutely love the little pollen corn tassles. 🌞

I grow Hopi blue corn. It is naturally pest resistant amd incredibly abundant. I really wish more people would grow these ancient plants. They also become reagonally adapted within one two years. ( I live in Washington state, a completely different climate from the desert where the corn comes from)

Viewers need to know more than acronyms. I would not have known this was the University of Vermont, had I not done a separate search. Not as bad as news and other articles not having dates of publication, but how about spelling out, eh?

Jeffrey Hamelman is a great professional in Baking, almost too modest, has a very good culture which made him the first victim of USA's WOKE madness at the Culinary Institute of America ..instigated by the WOKE Crazed and useless PhD Fred Mayo..I loved to work with Jeffrey Hamelman who is about the best Master Baker in all of USA..speaking of German Teacher he has Werner Pfleiderer and Pavailler ovens which are simply the best European Made ovens.

What a great talk (presentation, details, photos, videos, etc) and what a knowledgeable person (researcher). I agree with what she said about the decision making process regarding cultivars vs end usages, including to ret or not to ret. Finally, that is true, straw processors and producers (farmers) must have a conversation so they stay on target and generate the product expected (Fibers) for the revenue $ expected! Thanks for this! We just got our permit for planting hemp here in Northcentral PA this year. Very small field, less than 2 acres. A lot to learn so this helps. Curious at 22:00, Jennifer talked about a "fix" to the baler recording the cords, but didn't elaborate on exactly what the fix was. Is it possible to elaborate more on what was done? Thanks!

Why did you stop layering, mine has worked for decades, and it continues to improve the soild. also why didnt your burn this area? I would and leave the steam boiling water for more dense garden areas. But there must have been a reason.

How much hemp do the people involved in this video series wear? How much have you all spent on hemp each year over the last decade? How much hemp seed are you all eating each month? Because that is the data that budges progress the most, eh
@fatheroffibereconomics

Again, Hibiscus Cannabis aka Kenaf blows all this out of the water. HC has been free and easy to use from community to corporate application and no one cared or cares. Zero viable for so called industrial hemp if HC is not expanded exponentially, period. And then there is the carbons aspects. This thing with hemp has had a vicious carbon creation cycle. Cant you see that you can't sit on HC and push this hemp? You cannot claim to be about the environment and sit on HC. Industrial hemp causes harm. It's quantifiably unacceptable

I've issued marketing and sales training for natural fiber materials and products, because no one knew how to grow this industry.... no one cared

A big fail from the beginner was that people weren't education that true industrial hemp happens from 35 - 100 days in the ground. It was always more practical and proactive to educate that marijuana just can't hide in true industry hemp. The very peoples pushing industrial hemp didn't understood industrial hemp. All this is why I've claimed eminent domain over the true industrial hemp industry as a whole and in parts.

Take hulled hemp seed at retail pricing: What have the yearly hulled hemp seed sales been over the last decade? My conservative low figure is that America should be spending at least 2 BILLION yearly on hulled hemp seed alone... This would be if hemp people were doing right things

Animal bedding... another thing people would understand if they had been listening to me. I spent alot of time selling this material for various uses and horse bedding was the biggest fail. My team of 4 hit up 10,000+ horse people, and not a single buyer. And horse people were the rudest people
