When you were talking about fuel pressure relief valve were you saying to put in a race valve instead of the stock valve?

Idaho relaxed their emissions testing. They got rid of it this year & all the emission testing stations have closed down. They dont mess with us at all anymore. Great video though fellas!

@@Longhauler85 Not to argue with you. But there is no fuel economy improvement beyond what the OEM promised when the vehicle was sold new. First you must realize that your losing fuel economy from the day one tales delivery of the vehicle.. Then there are things like MPG milage witches brew that at best restores some of the lost fuel economy. Anything else is total BS

I’ve got the 2023 LZ0 and it pulls well with a trailer. I think it’s rated 8600 stock and over 13,000 with the max trailer package. Mine does well with our 7000 lbs RV. I run to colorado with no issues. Replaced an avalanche with the 5.3 that couldn't cut it at altitude. As for fuel mileage, I get 40 mpg on a flat road at 60 mph. Towing, I get double of the avalanche with the 5.3. The LZ0 is rated 305 hp and 490 torque. More than enough.

Hey guys I have a question I have an 05 5.9 Cummins this is my first diesel I bought it with a blown motor and did stock pistons stage 4 colt cam with tappets also billet bridges, valve spring and retainers, heavy duty pushrods. I also went with a s369 turbo I have also done a built transmission. I was wondering if I did something wrong to the build. My truck feels like it has no power it will struggle to break the tires loose while power braking. First dodge and first diesel love my truck just want to know what ideas I can get.

Any fuel additive that boosts cetane definitely keeps the dpf cleaner. I run diesel kleen on my x15 and it rarely runs an active regeneration. The cleaner burn is enough that passive regeneration is all the dpf needs. Fuel mileage increase, not really. Probably something there but I run an additive to more to keep the tanks clean and the dpf as happy as possible

@Longhauler85
@Longhauler85 4 ай бұрын
Nope. It definitely works. You'll notice the difference soon as you start using it. Engine runs smoother, High Exhaust Temperature light doesn't come on when you come off the highway, the RPM's don't climb to start regening. It's expensive, but it works.

Yes for keeping dpf clean. Fuel mileage, there’s a boost there but I wouldn’t buy it just looking for mpg.

So the thing about the transmissions from my understanding, GM and Ford co-built the smaller 10 speed in the half tons and pony cars. Then they each took that technology and built their own heavy duty 10 speed. The biggest difference between the two, at least tune wise, is the Ford does a lot of skip-shift where the GM goes through all the gears sequentially no matter what

Love the poscast as always guys. Keep up the grest content ❤❤ Let's not worry or put all that wasted funding towards stopping real crime like illegals murdering innocent famillies or world wide war.. no let's put some innocent business owner on house arrest and waste billions in funding to fake clean up the environment meanwhile there are countries burning hundreds of thousands of tires per hour daily.... great job government... I hope I'm around for the next civil war when we eliminate big government and go back to being free ❤🤍💙

I'm thinking about ordering one. I just totaled my cab chassis 3500. Not worried about the trans. Rather have a proven 6 speed than the 10 for now.. What else is different on the l5d ? Over the l5p. I work for myself- dump trailer ext..and pull a 20k 44' 5th wheel a few times a year

The first question listeners should ask after listening to this episode is not how much you can add to my fuel economy. The first question one should ask is "How much fuel economy have I lost? and why? How do I get it back?

Standardization and they’re lazy af. Paying $90k for a basic soft top hmmwv and they’re using underpowered old engines, it needs a little more and it wouldn’t be hard to make it happen.

Actually if they ate smart the cummins guys don't hit the nitrous low because it splits blocks they hit the nitrous up higher because they don't need more torque so hitting it up higher in a cummins will give you nice horsepower numbers

Idc you cant tell me dumping more crap into my engine to burn up one thing doesnt cause more issues.. its all money if you find a cheap way to make the stuff they will quit caring about it they are just making a ton off the ev business for now. Before that they were getting their pockets fat with oil money😂😂

We need to band together instead of working against each other and cut tue EPA's nuts off and put tuem back where they belong i mean comr on we clesned up so luch the ozone healed and the numbers are great! We dont need them breathing doen our throat any longer. How about they go jump up the EV manufacturers ass for a while with how bad those vehicles pollute when they die or when those non recycling batteries thst hurt people and the environment from the beginning to the end waste.

bought an 05 off my old manager who bought the truck brand new, right off the lot. He used it for a round bail hauler and towed a camper to Florida with it, but other than that he just drove it like a regular old pickup. The only aftermarket parts he put on it was an AFE cold air intake, some Dick Cepek DC^2's and a CB radio. I bought the truck with 133,000 miles last May. So far (Knock on wood) I haven't had any issues out of it. I had a bullydog on it for a while, but I ended up spending the money on PPEI tuning, which made a substantial difference. It has the DSP-5 and trans tuning on it. I'll get into it once in awhile but I try not to beat on it too hard because of the reputation that the 5 speed Allisons have. I received a quote from Dmitri Millard recently for a 750 HP, and plan on doing a trans upgrade once some other larger financial purchases have been made (non-truck related). I don't really intend on going hog wild with it (stock fuel and stock air), but want the dependability and peace of mind to know that if I drop it in tune 5 and give her a little juice that the trans isn't going to grenade. I've done a few other mods to it as well to address some common issues with the LLY's (pretty much everything short of studs), and also put a larger trans cooler on it due to smacking a 9 point one morning. Love the content, keep up the great work!
