What I really disliked about the game’s story is how Peter lets people treat him like crap despite him routinely doing his best to help everyone. I especially hated MJ after she dropped her article which basically made Spider-Man out to be a potential monster; that in particular came off as one of the most passive aggressive and petty things I’ve ever seen a game character do.

Pretty much if any of the other main Peter Parker spiderman were in this but nah it's just watered down versions for the convenience of plot . No way home does this way better the other spiderman actually helped mcu spiderman in his cause and weren't literal npcs just because it's not their movie .

@@acchery8910 the first game left so much potential to be used, it's DLC did show good signs of them using it but Miles Morales and especcialy the second game didn't use it, also they downgraded some aspect of the first game by retiring almost all villains while also removing certains carachter's aspects.

So true man, they made Peter a freaking joke in this game, that can't do shit without someone's help. And that crap about "why the city needs me, when it has you?", I get that he was grieving for Aunt May, but why then after death of Uncle Ben he didn't cry for 18 hours a day? Feels like those woke companies hate when a white straight man does something actually good, and nerf them so bad, just so their CORRECT character would look better. But Miles is boring as fuck, he got nothing from spider verse version (which is cool) and always shown as a superior compared to Peter, whos been a hero for about 10 years now, like what the fuck. And that ugly ass MJ, who can now take on army of hunters and symbiotes by herself, that's just pure bullshit. Gosh, I hate this game so much, it's a total mockery of spider-man's stories, characters and their archs. At this rate I just hope they don't make Peter a cuck or something in a new game.
