Good evening Yana. I hope you are having a lovely Christmas time. I had a good half bottle of Zara S4nd4lwood left on my shelf, which I think I got at the end of 2019 (black bottle). I don't think it has ever been a favourite of mine, but I tried it again early in November and I did not mind it at all. I wouldn't say it was a signature scent for me but I have been wearing that one a few times a week on a casual basis for the day. Your lipstick looks very sexy! 💋

Certainly a lot of choices! 💗 Incidentally, I'm wearing HdP's Fidelis today which has a great raspberry-like fruitiness to it. Always felt like the base could've been darker and bolder though. So I layered it with Fragrance World's Double Espresso and I like it even more. 😉 Raspberry coffee ftw!

The only fragrance with raspberry in it I have tried is Tuscan Leather but you can't detect it when you smell it I guess it is there to help make the scent

Loving the t-shirt. 😄 Interesting about the warmth in Song for a Queen. Usually powdery fragrances are quite cold on me, unless they're cut with a good dose of sweetness. I'm definitely a fan of benzoin though! I actually have some of the Sumatran resinoid myself and find it to be quite lovely. I think it's a part of the styrax family, but leans cinnamony to my nose. Shame how woody ambers can sometimes ruin an accord's true effect. Most complimented for me this year were probably HR Rouge Prive and Givenchy's Pi, but Alfred Ritchy's Nolo got quite a bit of notice too. That one is a certified beastmode scent and pretty good to layer with. In tiny doses, it does wonders for a leather accord.

Just yesterday Arlene from Delicious Delights published some impressions of Deep Romance and apparently it's a Bianco Latte type of scent. 🤔 Definitely gourmand but nothing really new. On the other hand there are a few new ones from DS & Durga that I wouldn't mind trying. AdP's Colonia II Profumo too. Not gourmands, but so few new releases excite me these days. Bois Talisman undoubtedly aiming to board the Babycat train. 🚂💵💵💵 Chuggachugga chuggachugga chuggachugga 😂

It's almost always the dreaded woody amber compounds that make me sick too. Benetton's Colours Black is a good example. Might be my worst blind buy of all time. Luckily I gave it away like a year ago. Used to be that Tom Ford's Noir edp made me sick too. Then I got Iceberg Man and Matin a Mogador that do the dna better and now I love that scent.
