We'll be on the Breakaway in November in the Haven. Was on the Escape in the Haven last year and your ratings were just about the same as ours would have been. Cagney's is good, but not nearly as good as when it was first introduced. The Haven restaurant is great, but I wish they would change the menu a few times during the cruise. Been sailing NCL since 1997 and for the most part the food has always been good and the service excellent. Nice video, and you guys remind us of our family. We are owners at the Aruba Ocean Club, and we followed your vlog about your trip to the Surf Club before we all went in May. All thirteen of us, and one in the belly.
@mattnrach2016Ай бұрын
Thanks for the kind words John! Have a great time on the Breakaway...I"m sure you will. Appreciate your input on the food. NCL is a great cruise line....we like them a lot!! Glad you enjoyed the Aruba videos as well too. Really appreciate you all tuning in!!

About the Odeo I would not be hacked up by what Hitler or against him MORE than what all the other tyranst did during the past many of 1000s of years. Nero Cicero the Cleopatra time the Dark age and NOT LEAST the Mongouls... killed the chines and burned up 1000s of viliges with the people living in it.... The Turkish Sultan and today the american army.... Hitler was a transvestite person who worked for their right and to be accepted and their right too... War is the most horrible things no matter who it does the outcome of it the people is longing for pease ...

Fun fact-The haint blue color of the roof is from the Gullah ppl of the 1950s and it’s a low country culture thing. Is believe that the haint blue is related to the word ghost or spirit and it’s a term for ghost spirit the people believe that the haints were malicious and evil, and the were capable of entering in the homes thru the doors in the keyholes so they painted the roof blue. Awesome video thanks for sharing my hometown

Great overview of the cruise itinerary and very impressed with the Haven level , definitely the way to go ! The room looked very nice and the L’Occitane products in the bathroom are definitely an upscale touch! Butler service…..very impressive! I can’t wait for the dining and food video and hoping the “Aruba crew” does their critique ratings lol ! Ships or planes is all travel, the videos are well done and pleasant to watch so yes please cover cruises as well ! I really like your background music in your videos and particularly enjoyed the biology track on here!!! I live in Tampa bay and this is definitely a cruse I would consider thanks to your video!

@mattnrach20162 ай бұрын
Yes we did take a stroller to Portugal. It was one that folded up so we could gate check it at the airport. There’s a lot of models out there. But we really did t use it in Lisbon because of the streets. Just in Algarve.

31:44 On sunny days, you can take a small train that runs on the track you see to the left, or rent a rowboat or pedal boat to go out on the lake, or sometimes pedal-powered family road vehicles. If you go near big trees early in the morning without a dog, especially in summer and fall, you'll probably see red squirrels.

22:18 Here you see only 1/3 or what you could see on a clear day: No Dombes, no Alps, no Monts du Lyonnais in the Horizon. No high speed train viaduct nor nuclear powerplant in the distance… But you are lucky, because sometimes the visibility is 1 meter in the fog.

21:39 Compare the walking speed of the camera to the "relaxed" walking speed of the local population. 😄

8:18 Hardly anyone takes this wheel except tourists, because for 1/8 of the price, or just by walking, you can climb one of the two main hills (Fourvière, the praying hill, or Croix-Rousse, the working hill) and get a much better view of the whole city.
