3 5 7 is a 4 1/2 inch stretch on my guitar I can barely reach the 7 fret much less fret it
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy21 сағат бұрын
Roll your hand towards the ceiling. A slight position shift will help you reach that fret. Don’t worry about getting the notes perfect just go thru the exercise and then give your hand a rest. Over time you will be able to reach the 8th fret. Just remember by rolling your hand up a bit your fingers gain just that extra distance to reach those frets

thanks for the lesson man, i have to slow down the tempo a bit to play it properly
Thank you for this amazing lesson! Somehow I stumbled across it after years of following all kinds of guitar teachers on KZbin. I really appreciate how you explain these great-sounding licks and riffs slowly and clearly, making it so easy to follow. I just subscribed. Thanks a million and please keep them coming!

Would you mind telling us the secret to your lead tone? Which amp, which effects…? I could hear some delay and perhaps some sort of tube screamer perhaps? Thanks a lot!
what key is this? I'm confused by the E major chord.
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy17 күн бұрын
By adding the E Major we are introducing G# note and that makes it sound A Harmonic Minor
@peterboeckx518516 күн бұрын
@@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy so the key only changes on the e major chord to A harmonic minor, the rest is in A minor? Learning every day new things,thanks man
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy16 күн бұрын
@@peterboeckx5185 yes . It’s a common thing. If it was only am it would be Em. E Major gives it that harmonic sound with that G# in the chord.

Peter I will do up a little lesson on A Harmonic Minor keeping it in simple terms

Your content is good & informative but your channel has very few subscribers and views. I noticed that you regularly upload videos on KZbin. I checked your channel and found some problems. Your videos are not SEO optimized, videos are not using powerful tags, channels are not properly optimized and Channel tags are not used. As a result, your video doesn't reach the audience....

Does this work if i move it n key of D
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy18 күн бұрын
Absolutely. Try writing out D Major Use the WWHWWWH pattern to give you D E F# G A B C# And then write out that scale again starting on the 3rd degree (note) which is F# G A B C# D E and they are your 3rd harmony for each note of the D Major Scale.
@dannyadkins421218 күн бұрын
Rock on ur making me better just ? I assume this is movable
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy18 күн бұрын
Thanks. Yes you can move this shape
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy19 күн бұрын
Also if you start the scale on the 5th degree (Note) that’s a 5th harmony and by doing that it gives you your triad for each chord in the key .For example. CEG. C Major triad.
@peterboeckx518519 күн бұрын
nice one man,the 3rd give it a mayor or minor sound 👍
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy19 күн бұрын
Both it will follow the chord sequence of a major scale.
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy19 күн бұрын
Or you could say I’m starting the scale on it’s 3rd note (E) and that will make more sense

❤ Why we start C scale from F
@GuitarLessonsMadeEasy20 күн бұрын
Think of it as F Lydian. It’s all natural notes and I use this exercise to play all natural notes so when I play in C Major I will know where all my natural notes are.
