@@louisrajan9395 Queenstown is definitely a dream retirement spot for me too! It’s expensive but so beautiful, with plenty of activities like trekking. One of the most stunning places and my favorite for trips! But for starting a family as a migrant, I don’t think it’s an affordable option.

The focus should not be on doing things differently, but rather on adhering to the recognized, global clinical protocols. While each country may have its own healthcare system or patient population.The fundamental principles of medical care-such as patient safety, accuracy, and professionalism are remained consistent across all settings. So as a Nurse , അവന്റെ രാജ്യം എന്തായാലും, ആഗോളതലത്തിൽ അംഗീകൃതമായ test/ procedure critieria follow ചെയ്യണം.ഇവിടെ ഇവരെ വെറുതെ തോൽപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ് for no reason.
@The_Outspoken_Malayali6 күн бұрын
@@jacobpaul2995 Thank you so much for sharing your view! It’s really good to see a different perspective on this topic. While I agree that universal clinical principles like patient safety, accuracy, and professionalism are very important and must be followed, I think you may have misunderstood what we meant in the video. We were not questioning the importance of global standards. What we were trying to say is that every nurse is different, and individual nurses should develop their own style of communication and nurse patient interaction instead of blindly following what is taught during OSCE preparation. The NCNZ or the body that conducts OSCE won’t fail anyone without a valid reason, in my opinion. What actually happens in many cases is that nurses undergoing training often perform in a very similar way, with the same style of presentation. Examiners can easily pick up on this and see that some candidates are just copying and pasting what they were taught, without showing their unique confidence or natural interaction. Once again, thank you for sharing your thoughts. It’s always great to have these discussions and understand different perspectives better! 👍

@@The_Outspoken_Malayali Thank you for your detailed response and for clarifying your point! I now better understand what you meant in the video.I appreciate your point about avoiding the "copy-paste" style of preparation. It’s true that overly rehearsed performances can sometimes feels as artificial.Anyway Thank you again for your insight and for raising this discussion.

😂😂😂. Bro how can you blame a country bluntly? As a nurse you are working with patients and is an absolute risky job. It is just an exam to assess your capability to work in such circumstances. 1000’s of people have passed OSCE here. As mentioned in this video it is just informational I believe. The work ethics, culture etc are totally different from that of offshore. You might have had bad experiences, but try to understand the shortcomings instead of blaming. By the way I am not a nurse and don’t work in this field nor in any way related to any agency or so. Just commenting as your views are that of a typical person who is not successful and blaming everything else. Everyone knows that the situation here is worse now not only in healthcare but other areas as well. So one needs to make an informed decision before planning to migrate. Good luck

Hi, here in hospital there is no HCA’s in the ward. If you have patients with 2 person assist while doing personal cares, you have to book wardy in your computer (just like booking orderly in Nz) so here you are doing all the RN work + HCA job. For example, if a patient who is 1xassist got diarrhoea our shift is gone. I feel in NZ our RN colleagues happy to help, here only our buddy nurse will help just because they have to. In Nz nurses will sit mostly In nurses station to write notes, we have a space for that, so we’ll have a communication with our colleagues. In Australia everything is through computer, med chart, ons chart, notes every thing and we supposed to do everything at pt side. No nurses station or chair to sit down. Mostly we park the computer in our patient’s bay and do the notes. So less chances of communication with colleagues. In NZ infection control is far better, I never see anyone using yellow gown while entering VRE pt room. Even VRE patients are put in 4 patients bay with just curtains closed.

Thanks for the clear explanation, when I researched about Australia before migrating, I heard similar stories. Which part of NZ did you live? And where are you currently in Aussie?
