Man that’s crazy. Watching this led me to figuring out what was wrong with mine. My rear axle U-bolts had come loose allowing the axle to move under power or harsh braking. Thanks for the vid!

My 1986 F150 has felt like this since I got it. You can actually feel the play in the driveline, when you let off the accelerator and it takes a second for the wheels to catch up and start turning the engine then there’s a nice clunk. It’s been 20,000 miles like this and I have no intention to fix it until the driveshaft fall out 😂

What youve encounters is one of the newer Chinese made Bosch knockoffs vs. a genuine Bosch sensor. New Holley stuff ships with the knock offs, they suck and fail out of the box often. Bosch part # 17025 will get you taken care of. Get them from efi source or somewhere reputable ($90-125) the $30-$50 ones are fake.
@RocketGarageService11 күн бұрын
I literally just went through, another Holley wide band issue. Ended up being a corroded battery post. But I ordered the Bosch 17025 from Summit. I haven't tried a knock off yet.

Yeah it could use some grease but looks like alot movement in the rear springs and axle, shouldn't be sliding in and out that much. Maybe add some ladder bars, possible need new springs, possible need check the pinion and bearings.

Any possibility this would cause a vibration while my trans shifts from 1st to second?
@RocketGarageService11 күн бұрын
I wouldn't think so. But I could be wrong. My heart would lend to something internal of the transmission. But I would do a lot of troubleshooting to get to that point.
