This is the language they use and because they use it automatically they are better than you (the hypnotist) at using it. They are also the ones that will never go under trance, and sometime they use the hypnotist to manipulate others. It is a big problem I wish I knew back in my training days.

You're depending on people talking in ways they usually don't. Sure, sometimes you get that sort of storyteller. But usually you get people who will cut off.

That first statement seems so cliche by this point that I immediately perceived it as a turn off. "You look like a person who" is just very much associated with sleazy salesman. I even hear it in Phil Harvey's voice in my head.

Hello Kevin! I just finished your audiobook on covert persuasion. And I have to say it’s one of the best books I have ever come across on influence and persuasion (And I have read a lot of them). It’s very clear that you are en absolute expert in the field! I just have a question: You have so many books, and many of the names seem to overlap each other. Are the books on influence and hypnosis etc very different from overt persuasion? Or have you included the same topics in this book? And btw: Do you have more audiobooks?
