Sorry forgot to mention that bro Performance: 8 hours on my skin. 2-3 days on clothes. Projection: A solid four feet for the first 2 hours then about 2 feet afterwards Hope the helps brotha! 🤜🤛

What's up brotha! The 1 million line is definitely one of the best in the entire designer game for sure. Each flanker is so different and amazing. To me the scent profile to the parfum is one of the best on the market but I think one of the reasons why people hate it is because of how strong it is and people have a tendency to overspray it. The same reason a lot of people hate on Sauvage. It's a great scent but people overdo the sprays and ruin the experience for everyone around them. When sprayed correctly the parfum is GORGEOUS!

What's up Hamid! Thanks for your awesome comment I usually go 7-8 sprays for normal everyday wear. If I'm looking to get extra attention and impress then I'll spray 10-12 sprays. I don't like to overspray (15 times) like some fragrance influencers recommend. I like to smell good and be noticed but not try hard needy desperate. With women less is more. Like I said 7-8 sprays is all you need. But you always want to experiment and see what kind of reactions you get. There is no black or white answer. It's going to be different for everyone based on personality, height, and occasion. 7-8 sprays is a great place to start experimenting. As far as reapplying I do the same 7-8 sprays. If you don't have it, check out some reviews on Narciso Rodriguez bleu noir edp and give it a try. Kinda like ck1 grew up and moved out. Great summer scent, almost zero projection but it's kinda a personal experience.

I got a travel spray of this to test out. I wore it to see my girlfriend to test it out with 5 sprays on a hot summer day. She didn't notice it at all. She loves the scent but it seems like the performance isn't that great for me. Is this an issue anyone else has?

Sorry for the late reply brotha. Unfortunately a personal thing. On my skin it projects like a monster and fills the room and that's with 5 sprays only. One of the loudest scents in my collection for sure. Sometimes samples are known to go bad since they're small and more susceptible to damage. Especially now that we're in the heat it can take a toll on the sample while it's being shipped to you. I'm hoping it's not the case with yours. If you live near a store that carries Haltane. See if they'll let you try on skin just so you can get a second testing experience. All the best my friend!🤜🤛

@@FantasticScents It's definitely darker for sure but it's not directly similar to the go Layton. It lacks cardamom and they replaced it with the animal note of civet which makes it funky in a sexual way. It could've been its own fragrance in all honesty similar to what Sauvage Elixir is to the previous flankers. Nevertheless, there is still a bit of the Layton dan in there. Prepare to be surprised by how different it is. But like I said in my review. The first 10 minutes of LE its smells like a typical designer mass appealing scent so don't base your opinion on first impression. After 10-15 minutes is when the gorgeous masterpiece begins to unfold. So happy for you!

Franco, it’s been a while. I only recently found out about Haltane. It sounds good, a fresh green aromatic scent seems like it’s pretty good and masculine for anyone. Personally I say to hell with “age ranges” on most fragrances! I think as long as you shower, dress well, and are styled good, you can pull off any scent. In my view, fragrances only add to your style. I’m in my early 20’s, I have pulled off BDC Parfum to work, in high heat. It’s a hell of a nice scent that’s kind of rough around the edges with the woodiness and sharp spiciness. I’ve pulled off YSL L’Homme Ultime. Something I’d consider the scents that are more for mid 20’s to later 20’s. But since you mentioned that “back in the day” fragrances used to be more green, aromatic, earthy, and therefore more masculine, I realized why Kalan is my favorite PDM. In the far dry down there’s amazing sweetness, with the oudy earthiness. It seems like Haltane and Kalan would be cousins in some way.

I want to get another PDM, I can't get a designer unless it's something like BDC Parfum or YSL Y EDP/Elixer. My tastes are forever changed 🤣 Kalan is, well you know my thoughts. I just wish it wasn't so crapped on by the community, what tf went wrong. Been wearing it daily for work and it is just so gorgeous.

You know, as I’ve worn Kalan (I know, I can’t stop talking about it), I edited my previous comments to give a more accurate interpretation of it, at least on my skin and whiffs of it in the air. Galloway has intrigued me. It’s a citrusy, floral woody scent but fresher and more “beachy” from what I’ve seen. Lord knows a fresh PDM is next 😅

@@LifeWithFranco. I also have Angels Share, & I prefer Oajon. Oajon is a spicier, darker version of Carlisle. Greenley is amazing!! I would seriously consider that as a signature scent if I had to pick 1 PDM to keep. Althair is 1 of the best vanilla scents in the game. You can’t go wrong with any one of them. Ever since I’ve gotten to the level of PDM, & Creed, I’ll probably never buy another designer fragrance again.

What's up Dylan! My apologies for the late response. I've been busy No, Dylan Blue and ADG are very different from each other. And ever since I made this video I've seen a lot more differences. ADG is aromatic, light, fresh, even though it's still a bold oceanic scent while Dylan Blue is deep and dark with a candy sweetness. Not at all redundant to own both. Go for it!

Hi Franco! thanks for your review it's really nice to listen and to see your passion for Herod ❤ I am also love Herod and it's my best ever fragrance!! I have a few bottles from 2018 baches and it's even more thick more vanilla more cherry and more tobacco sense.... those 2018 baches are really driving me crazy!!!! the juice is dark red and it's projecting 8 hours and stays al list 12 hours.... also baches from 2021 with 78% vol is good enough (but not like 2018) after it the 81% vol with the clear juice is not the same softy perfume that is used to be... but still a winner ❤❤❤ you say it correctly that Herod is a perfume for life!!!❤❤❤ thanks again 😊

Carlisle has always piqued my interest, it’s been so very revered across the KZbin fragrance community, especially with exactly what Demi R. has had to say about it. Full price is insane, I mean it is $430 for 125ml, even if bought at discounted sites or eBay, I still would not trust anything going below 300, 250 minimum. There is no 75ml version, neither of Habdan and Oajan.

Great video. I own a tiny vile sample of Pegasus, and I don’t necessarily like the scent, it is just too powdery, although I’m not sure how much scent you can get out of 2ml. Never smelled either Exclusif, only own full bottle of Layton and Kalan. Just fantastic scents. I’d honestly like to see your impressions on Kalan, it gets so many mixed reactions but I really think it doesn’t get enough credit for the warm, spicy and sweet, floral woody scent that it is.

What's up brotha! Good to hear from you again. Definitely get a sample of Pegasus Exclusif you may be pleasantly surprised. I've also heard mixed reviews of Kalan and unfortunately I haven't sampled it yet. I may end up blind buying just because the red bottle looks so amazing to me. I have a list of fragrances I want to buy first and then when I get the chance in the future I'll review it for sure. I'm curious how else would you describe Kalan? Can you compare it to anything? I always think of Eros Flame whenever I think of Kalan. Are they similar?

@@LifeWithFranco Good to hear from you! I don’t know how to compare Kalan, it’s truly unique, and I haven’t smelled Eros Flame. I definitely DO NOT recommend blind buying, I started with a 2ml sample and loved the sweet, spice, aromatics/earth. The whole bottle had the full scent. It’s a bit spicy, quite floral woody, with a bit of sweetness that doesn’t totally disappear, it’s got freshness to me. It just smells like sexy masculine rich man! 😂

You had me at "sexy masculine rich man", my highest aspiration in life lol. I'll be sure to sample it. Also, are there any specific video topics you want me to cover? I have my own video ideas but I'm always interested in knowing what people want to watch.

@@LifeWithFranco I am just a fragrance lover nothing more. I don’t make content on the internet. It’s definitely a very luxurious and uplifting scent. Another way I perceive it, to really describe it; It’s got this bubblegum sweet vibe at the top similar to 1 Million or Invictus, with the aromatics and woods that are in the background. To me it’s almost “oudy”, it’s very pleasant and well balanced. None of it is clawing imo. The sweetness at the opening is carried through the whole scent and changes to be warmer. I just happen to have a unique nose that does like this extremely unusual combination, it needs love, and time to oxidize after first spraying.
