Good to know all the cheapo levers have that much free play vertically. I just bought mine from Aliexpress and I thought it was defective. Added some rubber washer to help reduce the slack lol

Man you gotta watch a video on how to properly mic yourself to get good audio cause half of the things you say are almost completely drowned out in reverberation. Which sucks because what you have to say is very important! But either way, I still got the knowledge so thank you for taking the time to make this, gonna make my safety wire look professional ;)

Love the video! Very helpful for me, My 2012 zx6r was stolen and 8months later I was about to recover it thanks to the police. As someone that doesnt know much about rebuilding im having trouble getting passed the stress of all the parts i need to figure out the names and part numbers. Any tips that would help?

Did you ever make a follow up after trying the rims out? Take them to the track? It has been hit or miss with Arashi for me, seems like something as important as the rim would sketch me out. I'd be afraid to hit a bump or pot hole and snap a spoke or crack the rim. Probably cheap china wheel bearings too...

haha 600's are just better in all honesty. I've owned a 15 r1, and loads of other 1000's. And the R6 is the most fun, and comfortable bike I have ever owned for the track. And a LOT cheaper on tires.

@dillwinn I back this I owned a 07 r1 now running a 600rr and just looking to find the right deal on an r6 as the track bike. r1 is mental but to much bike for mean almost anyone to use 100% on the track and in traffic and streets you can ride in one gear it gets boring and when you open up and click a gear or two you're doing 4x the speed limit

Bike looks sick. That tank extnender looks pretty sick, too. What made you choose that one over the monkey grips? And what seat pad is that? Are you not running the AB/QS setup?

Thanks man! Honestly the looks lol. The tech spec just looks cleaner. I’m sure it works fairly similar too. The seat pad is just a graves racing seat pad. I am! Still got the IRC AB/QS hooked up.

That looks great! Same color as my 1199. From where did you get the fairing kit? I was thinking about grabbing a Chinese set from a-moto-part (without dashes) and running those while I repaint my factory stuff.

I just got this one off eBay from China. Since that’s about where they all come from lol. Fitment is okay 🤷‍♂️. Not the best. But it works.
