Brian Fallon is the greatest songwriter of my lifetime. I imagine him making a contract with so many souls on Earth to write this music.

I never would of thought Brian would of pulled this style/look off... guess it comes with aging.. I haven't seen him on a live video recently.. everything I've watched has been from 6 + years ago. Amazing.

I’m sorry but this band cannot play live. There guitars are constantly out of tune there. Vocals in and out backups are poor. Been like this for years

I do love me some raw rock n roll, and Gaslight sure do have their own unique sound. Their songs are well written and Brian is forever smiling and engaging with the audience. I saw them over a decade ago and it was one of my favourite ever gig experiences to date back then (2010 I think it was 🤔). This is a good set list and seemingly a good show but, damn, the sound quality is atrocious! Shame

@gooberthoreauАй бұрын
I wouldn't say better than EVER, but better than it was at the tail end of their original run. He had really burned it down to almost nothing. Transforming into a cross country trucker may be part of this vocal preservation routine.
@mitchaelhollingsworth1698Ай бұрын
Rest probably helps. He was able to set the pace he wanted on his solo career. 2008 to 2014 was write and record 59 sound, tour, write and record american slang tour, the horrible crowes elsie record, handwritten with brendan o brien on a major label, press and touring, then writing recording and preforming a follow up with difficult personal circumstances and poor reviews. Over the years brian has improved his fingerstyle guitar, piano playing and explored different things on the writing side. The good news about being a creative force behind the music is that brian gets to write to suit his voice. He doesnt have to go out and sing david bowie or queen songs every night.

Why do rock fans always have to be f*cking crocketty curmudgeons? Absurd statements like this and the body-shaming elsewhere in every gaslight comment section are toxic and unnecessary. Every time I've seen Gaslight they've sounded great. Y'all go out there and do what they do better, ya pansy-ass armchair musicians.

I don't know if you know But I feel you in me Inside of my ears Inside of my bones I remember the colors In your mysterious eyes Part of me stays In the room where we met And everything slows with my breath As I watch you float cross the floor And the night came as it went I could swear that I knew you before And maybe on another night, we were lovers in another life Or maybe we were only strangers on mystery trains And you were only a ghost that has stolen my heart away And I always wondered if I knew you before I feel like I had enough time on my hands I know that you're with me, still I have this fear One day I'll wake up and you'll be a dream 'Cause everything slows with my breath And I watch you float cross the floor And the night came as it went I could swear that I knew you before And maybe on another night, we were lovers in the moonlight Or maybe we were only strangers on mystery trains And you were only a ghost that has stolen my heart away And now if you need me, you know where to find me I'll be always falling under your spell And everything slows with my breath As I watch you float cross the floor And the night came as it went I could swear that I knew you before Like maybe on another night, we were lovers in another life Or maybe we were always strangers on mystery trains And you were only a ghost that has stolen my heart away Terjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia
