Whats the russell knife on the top at 0:10 seconds? Looks kinda like a boning knife. I looked at modern dexter russell boning knives but they're not full tang which kinda sucks.

Definitely in the genus Ganoderma, it is eating the tree. That is the fruiting body of the fungus called a conk. This oak isn't long for this world 😢.

Hey, I am a local Vicksburgian born and raised, I've spent the last few years doing volunteer work on the trail system in the Vicksburg national military park and have been running there for the past 8 years I'd love to give a tour of the trail and maybe you could provide me with some more historical insight into the area.

It's wonderful restoring extremely old iron skillets from 20 years+ of neglect handed down. 3-4 waves of oil seasoning love and they look brand spanking new. Some people still think the old rusted skillet is no good - I"LL TAKE IT! haha. I've seen some pretty bad ones though too, deep rust and cracking - that's pretty severe - depends on how bad the cracking is - sometimes you can still smooth it out with some power tools

Here is a improvement to your new improved rocket stove slide the top layer of bricks about 1/2 inch apart this gives a space for the fire and smoke to exit without needing a stand of grill on top to create enough space to not snuff the fire. It eliminates one more thing that you absolutely need to operate the stove by using the bricks you need anyway to solve that problem.
@survivalcommonsenseАй бұрын
The grill on top is actually from the eye of a gas kitchen range. In a disaster, it shouldn't be hard to find one.

I don’t think kudzu is near as aggressive as people think. It takes a very long time to penetrate into the woods. If landowners and the state took more initiative against it I imagine they could knock it back a good bit.

I wouldn't use this stove inside. The stove doesn't provide a lot of heat from the bricks. And, the stove requires a lot of fuel feeding.
