The use of tongs and stepping on the snakes is not a good practice to continue using
@jonahsoutdooradventures2349
@jonahsoutdooradventures2349 3 ай бұрын
Yes if you squeeze and step hard. We don't do either and the tongs are wrapped. We only handle Male snakes of legal size with the intent to harvest and tag. If we were doing something wrong it wouldn't be legal. Thanks for your input

Apparently, Pennsylvania's conservation laws are as ludicrous as most other states. I wonder what their justification is for limiting the length of snakes. Is it to keep the smaller ones as breeding stock? I guess you have to have a college education to figure it out?
@jackriley5974
@jackriley5974 3 ай бұрын
I guess I should have watched the entire video as I now realize the State of Pennsylvania is treating snakes as game animals, hence the need to keep the population steady without concern for public safety.

Did more research, and evidently, you're allowed only one rattler and one copperhead for a $30 permit. That is probably enough to pay an Encon Officer to chase you around? I recently purchased a shirt with the graphics stating, "I'm old, but I got to see the world before it turned to shit." My sentiments exactly, and I'm sorry y'all missed it!

If you have to put your foot on a snake to tube it then you have no business tubing or interacting with snakes at all. Tubing requires patience and that's something you don't have. Complete 🤡 show.
@jonahsoutdooradventures2349

Just to stop him from moving. There wasn't any foot pressure on the snake. I'd be welcome to see how you do it but certainly don't appreciate the rude comment.

I’ll have to ask my dad to mail me some of those rods! Didn’t think I’d use them now living in the USA! But I’m doing it now!

Pennsylvania. The raccoon was trapped and tagged 4 months prior to us catching it. If it had the bait with the vaccine it wouldn't have enough titers built up in the blood to show anything. That's why they didn't want it to test
